Happy Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus Christ! This morning at Holy Mass, we consecrated our parish and community to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This was the culmination of our special 40 hours devotion which started on Wednesday with the 5:30 pm Holy Mass, followed by a Eucharistic procession to the bridge over 35W so we could pray for our country. The 40 hours of Adoration included the Liturgy of the Hours, many Rosaries, Divine Mercy Chaplets, and various other prayers by our regular adorers, small groups, Knights of Columbus, parishioners, and friends of SJB. Children of our parish also colored a bunch of images of the Sacred Heart to decorate our church entrance. We also enjoyed festive hospitality today with special Sacred Heart cookies!

A big thank you to all who helped organize, volunteer, and serve our parish in this celebration!
