-Continuation on the Tabernacle
(Scriptures paraphrased - go read in your bible!)
The items for the veil were given by the people and God crafted the people, giving them the talent to create! They came together in unity.
THE VEIL - A BARRIER AND A PROPHECY
Exodus 26:31-32
"You shall make a veil woven of blue, purple, and scarlet thread, and fine woven linen...and you shall hang it upon the four pillars of acacia wood overlaid with gold."
Exodus 26:1
"Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine woven line(white), blue, purple, and scarlet thread..."
The veil was not a curtain of convenience - it was a wall of separation
- It reminded the people: God is Holy. You are not.
- Only the High Priest go pass beyond it.
- The veil was about limitation. A boundary. A reminder of Eden's closed gate.
In its very colors, the veil prophesied of Christ.
- Fine linen is always a symbol of righteousness
- Clean, white, fine linen speaks of faith righteousness.
Revelations 19:7-8
"Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in FINE LINEN..." - to be dressed in righteousness!
Revelations 3:5
"He who overcomes shall be clothes in white garments..."
Revelations 7:14
"...and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."
Exodus 28:39
"You shall skillfully weave the tunic of fine linen thread, you shall make the turban of fine linen..."
Isaiah 61:3
"To console those who mourn in Zion...The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness...The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified."
1 Corinthians 15:47
"Adam, the first man, was made from the dust of the earth, while Christ, the second man, came from Heaven."
