Come Back to the Quiet Place
Sister, before you go to sleep thinking about everything you need to do this week, there is one thing you need more than a perfectly organized plan: time in Yahuah's Word.
Welcome home. 🤍
Maybe Monday was busy.
Maybe you started the week running.
Work needed you.
Family needed you.
Messages needed answers.
Something needed fixing.
And somehow, before you knew it, the day was almost gone.
If that's you tonight, come sit with us for a moment.
The Word is open.
There is still a place for you at the Father's table.
📖 Today's Manna
"And she had a sister called Miryam, who also sat at the feet of יהושע and heard His word. But Martha was distracted with much serving..."
Luke 10:39-40, TS2009
Martha was serving.
That's important.
Yahusha wasn't describing a woman doing nothing while everyone else worked.
She was busy doing something useful.
But Scripture says she became distracted by it.
And I think some of us understand Martha more than we would like to admit. 😂
We can become so busy handling life that we slowly begin giving Yahuah whatever attention is left over.
We pray while rushing.
We tell ourselves we'll read later.
We carry tomorrow in our minds while still trying to finish today.
And eventually, even good responsibilities can become loud enough to pull our attention away from what we need most.
Yahusha told Martha:
"Martha, Martha, you are worried and troubled about many matters, but one only is necessary..."
Luke 10:41-42, TS2009
Sister, this isn't permission to neglect your responsibilities.
It's a reminder about order.
Before the noise gets your heart, return to Yahuah.
Before everyone else gets your attention, give Him your attention.
Before you ask Him to help you carry everything this week, sit long enough to hear what His Word says about how you should walk through it.
🌿 Around the Father's Table
Maybe you haven't opened Scripture yet today.
Open it tonight.
Maybe your prayer life has become hurried lately.
Sit with Yahuah for a few quiet minutes.
Maybe you're searching.
Maybe you're curious.
Maybe you're returning after being away for a while.
Maybe you've walked with Yahuah for years and simply needed this reminder.
There is room at the table for you.
You don't need an impressive routine.
You don't need the perfect journal.
You don't need an hour of uninterrupted silence before Yahuah will meet you in His Word.
Come with a willing heart.
Open the Scriptures.
Read.
Pray.
Listen.
And allow His Word to examine you before this week carries you any further.
🌸 Monday Invitation
Sometime before tonight ends, give Yahuah a few minutes that belong only to Him.
Put the phone down.
Open His Word.
And ask:
"Father, what do You want me to hear before I walk into the rest of this week?"
Then don't rush the answer.
💛 Encouragement for the Week Ahead
Dear Sister,
You will have responsibilities this week.
Handle them faithfully.
People may need you.
Love them well.
There will be work to do.
Do it unto Yahuah.
But don't become so occupied serving, solving, planning, helping, building, and carrying that you forget to sit at the feet of the One you're doing it all for.
The quiet place isn't an escape from your week.
It is where your heart gets properly positioned to walk through it.
🤲 Prayer
Our Father, Yahuah,
Thank You for bringing us through another day.
Forgive us for the times we have allowed the cares and responsibilities of life to receive more of our attention than You.
Teach us to recognize when useful things have become distractions.
Give us hearts that desire Your Word.
Help us slow down enough to hear Your instruction, humble ourselves when You correct us, and obey what You show us.
For the sister who is searching, draw her closer to truth.
For the sister returning, help her continue walking toward You.
For the sister who has walked with You for years, renew her hunger for Your Word.
And for every one of us, keep our hearts from becoming so busy that we forget the One who gives us strength for every responsibility we carry.
Prepare us for the rest of this week according to Your will.
In Yahusha's Name.
Amein.
HalleluYah! 🙌🏽
🌸 This Week's Blessing
May Yahuah quiet what has been competing for your attention.
May His Word correct, nourish, and strengthen you.
May you serve faithfully without becoming distracted from His presence.
And may you remember throughout this week:
Before the noise, come back to the quiet place.
Good night, Sister. 🤍
The Word is still open.
With much love,
Yahmina
