Sunday’s Preview – Joy in Chains
Read Philippians 1:27 – 2:18

This Sunday we hear Paul’s bold declaration from Philippians:
“Live as citizens of the gospel of the King.”

In a world that proclaimed Caesar is Lord, Paul stood in defiance and proclaimed: Jesus is Lord.

That wasn’t just theology—it was a life-changing, world-shaking gospel.

We’ll explore what “gospel” really means, how false gospels still compete for our hearts today, and what it means to live as a colony of heaven right here and now.

Join us this Sunday as we remember the true King and the good news that changes everything.

Go in peace. Rejoice in the Lord always. Give thanks in all things. Thanks be to God.

Sunday’s Preview – Joy in Chains - Read Philippians 1

How can someone sitting in chains sound freer than most people living outside of one?

Paul teaches us that contentment is not having enough things—it is knowing Christ is enough. And rejoicing is not pretending life is easy—it is trusting that grace is bigger than what is hard. In a world constantly teaching us to focus on what we lack, the gospel invites us to remember the abundance of God’s grace already at work among us.

Join us as we discover why gratitude may be the beginning of joy.

Go in peace. Be transformed by Christ and reflect his love in the world. Thanks be to God.

Sunday’s Preview – Singing at Midnight
Read Acts 16:16-34

What do you do when life hits midnight? When everything feels dark—when prayers seem unanswered, when life doesn’t go the way you thought faith would lead—most of us want to ask, “God, where are you?”

But in Acts of the Apostles 16, Paul and Silas don’t turn away from God in their suffering… they turn toward God. Beaten, chained, and thrown into prison, they begin to pray. They begin to sing. And people start listening.

This Sunday, we’ll explore what it means to have a faith that sings at midnight—a joy that isn’t dependent on circumstances, and a witness that shines brightest when life feels darkest.

Because what you do in the dark might just be the light someone else needs.
