Well, it happened! Technical difficulties downloading Nick and John’s worship and sermon. For some reason it went into slow motion and turned out to be 2 1/2 hours long! FB can’t download it! We are truly sorry and apologize!
There will be an announcement during the message about regathering the church but for the purposes of it being in writing and being on FB let me state it here. The Lighthouse Christian Fellowship will resume its on site gathering Sunday, May 24th (Memorial Day Weekend) for regular worship services with 10:15 am breakfast and 10:45 worship. Scott will be holding his Sunday school class at 9:00 in the Fellowship Hall. A couple of things to know....
- when at church, socialize at the level of comfort for yourself but also please respect those who wish to social distance and/or are wearing personal protective equipment.
- enter through the breezeway door to come in
- There will be hand sanitizer readily available
- Please maintain one chair between you and anyone you do not cohabitate with during the service time
- When church is over please exit out of the auditorium side door closest to the music minister’s stand. (In case of inclement weather you will be released from service in an orderly fashion to file out of the back)
We are taking every precaution possible within reason to ensure your safety and comfort while gathering at LCF for worship.
Special note: If you are able to gather with us we are happy for you and look forward to seeing you on the grounds. If you are not able to worship with us in person, please know that you will be with us in spirit. Your physical presence may be missed but we encourage you to keep watching the videos of worship that we upload for you on FB. If you are battling a health condition or are immune system compromised know this, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have not forgotten about you and if you need anything from the pastor, elders or deacons of the church do not hesitate to let us know while you worship there at home.
Everyone should know that we respect their individual decision about being in and around others or not during this Covid pandemic.
If you have any prayer request and are still not ready to come to church, please contact us as we are already gathering every other Wednesday night to pray for the needs of the people in the church as well as the church ministries.
God bless you all! May this word in worship find you realizing more and more of God’s grace.
Your friend and pastor,
Nick
