Effective tomorrow, Sunday,

Church will resume via FB and the church doors will be closed for TWO WEEKS as we seek to disinfect because of a number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 with parishioners.

We got it to work!

Well, it happened! Technical difficulties downloading Nick and John’s worship and sermon. For some reason it went into slow motion and turned out to be 2 1/2 hours long! FB can’t download it! We are truly sorry and apologize!

There will be an announcement during the message about regathering the church but for the purposes of it being in writing and being on FB let me state it here. The Lighthouse Christian Fellowship will resume its on site gathering Sunday, May 24th (Memorial Day Weekend) for regular worship services with 10:15 am breakfast and 10:45 worship. Scott will be holding his Sunday school class at 9:00 in the Fellowship Hall. A couple of things to know....
- when at church, socialize at the level of comfort for yourself but also please respect those who wish to social distance and/or are wearing personal protective equipment.
- enter through the breezeway door to come in
- There will be hand sanitizer readily available
- Please maintain one chair between you and anyone you do not cohabitate with during the service time
- When church is over please exit out of the auditorium side door closest to the music minister’s stand. (In case of inclement weather you will be released from service in an orderly fashion to file out of the back)
We are taking every precaution possible within reason to ensure your safety and comfort while gathering at LCF for worship.

Special note: If you are able to gather with us we are happy for you and look forward to seeing you on the grounds. If you are not able to worship with us in person, please know that you will be with us in spirit. Your physical presence may be missed but we encourage you to keep watching the videos of worship that we upload for you on FB. If you are battling a health condition or are immune system compromised know this, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We have not forgotten about you and if you need anything from the pastor, elders or deacons of the church do not hesitate to let us know while you worship there at home.
Everyone should know that we respect their individual decision about being in and around others or not during this Covid pandemic.
If you have any prayer request and are still not ready to come to church, please contact us as we are already gathering every other Wednesday night to pray for the needs of the people in the church as well as the church ministries.
God bless you all! May this word in worship find you realizing more and more of God’s grace.
Your friend and pastor,
Nick

Happy Mother’s Day to you all and to the mothers who so richly bless us and our lives I hope you have a wonderful day!
I have been researching, consulting with others and looking at strategies. I will have a meeting to finalize some things on Monday night. Then the plan is to gather and have our first worship service on the grounds again on May 24th. For those of you who are deciding to attend there will obviously be a few changes in the way we conduct our worship service initially. And information for those of you that feel uncomfortable right now in coming back. Please be encouraged, we will continue to record and upload the services for you. Remember the scripture says we are to strive for the unity of the spirit. And I look forward to the near future when we will gather again to worship Him who loved us and gave His life for us.
Until then may God continue to give you His grace and peace.
Sincerely,
Your friend and Pastor

I know John mentioned that I’m under the weather but I turned 50 so the doctors wanted me to wear a halter monitor this week and have a couple of other medical tests so John took up the mantle for me so I could get all this done. Thanks to John, and his mother, Ruth, for their faithfulness! It was good music and a good word!
I hope this finds you all well!
I promise you we will be making an announcement Sunday night or Monday and have a plan laid out for congregating agin as the social distancing rules allow in Texas and can accommodate.
As always, remember if you need anything, please don’t hesitate to let me know!
