Politics has become one of the greatest sources of division in our culture. If it has such a capacity to divide us, why do we participate in it at all? What is the purpose of the political process, and are Christians called to engage with it?

Christian Education and Sunday School for all ages begin this Sunday, September 13, at 10 a.m.!

Adults can choose between “Should Church Be Political?” with Fr. Matthew and Rev. Riva or “Welcome to the Book of Common Prayer” with Fr. Ripp. Children ages 5 through 5th grade will journey through the Old Testament using The Biggest Story curriculum, while youth in 6th through 12th grade explore what it means to be Episcopalian and Anglican.

Come grow in faith, ask meaningful questions, and deepen your understanding of what it means to follow Jesus. There is a place for everyone!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for… outreach! 🍦

On Sunday, we heard from several of St. John’s Outreach Ministry leaders about the many ways we can love our neighbors, both near and far. And, of course, we enjoyed the Campaigne’s famous homemade ice cream!

This Sunday is St. John’s Sunday, when we will commit our time and talent to the ministries of St. John’s. As we consider how God is calling each of us to serve, may we “bring what we have so that God may be praised.”

Our Director of Nursery and Children’s Ministries, Emily Lehmuth, brought a little extra joy to the halls of St. John’s with this precious bulletin board! Be sure to stop by for a smile and take in all the creative details.

Emily and other Children’s Chapel volunteers are helping our young worshipers learn about the service and how they can participate through Children’s Chapel. Children ages 5 through 3rd grade are invited to attend during the 11 a.m. service!
