We had a wonderful start to Bishop David Reed's June Adult Christian Education series, What's Your Story? Conversations on Identity, Community, and Mission.

There's still plenty of time to join us! The series continues Sundays in June at 10 a.m. in the Parish Hall, and each session is self-contained, so you won't feel behind if you miss a week or can't attend them all.

Come explore how our personal stories are shaped by God's story, what it means to belong to the Church, and how we participate in Christ's mission in the world. We'd love to have you with us.

Sabbatical Update!

Sue has arrived safely in San José, where she will spend the week in language school and join Fr. Ripp at the home of the family he has been living with since early May.

Fr. Ripp also shared photos from a beautiful church he visited for worship on Sunday.

Please continue to keep Sue and Fr. Ripp in your prayers during this sabbatical season. May this time be enriching and restorative in heart, soul, mind, and strength as they learn, grow, and experience God’s presence in new ways.

St. John’s had a great showing at the Beauty from Ashes Ministries 5K this weekend, with 16 runners and walkers representing Team St. John’s in support of a wonderful cause!

Beauty from Ashes serves widows in our community, helping them navigate grief and find hope, healing, and connection. We were grateful to be part of an event that supports our neighbors in this way.

Our only regret? Not gathering everyone for a team photo! We’ll definitely fix that next year.
📸🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Way to go, Team St. John’s!
