Gruene United Methodist Church Our mission is to celebrate God's love, grow in God's grace, and serve God's people. Celebratory worship is important to us.

Gruene United Methodist Church believes we are called to make disciples of Jesus Christ. We celebrate the love and grace God offers through Jesus. We value praising God for
who God is; we value children and youth in worship; we value relevant, biblical messages. Our worship style is casual and uplifting with a full praise band while also remembering and honoring the ancient traditions as they are

appropriate. “Growing in God’s grace” is how we commit to learning and being in community though our small groups or ministries. Small groups for all ages are offered on Sunday morning with many additional small groups offered mid-week. “Serving God's people” is how we live out the great command to Love God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and to love your neighbor as yourself. Loving / serving people = loving / serving God. Reaching out into the community and world in loving-kindness and mission is valued at Gruene UMC. We reach out to others locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. We are blessed to be a blessing to others.

These students understand that being confirmed means that they are making the decision to claim their faith as their own. For all of their lives, parents and other adults have been teaching them, praying for them, and sharing their own faith with them. They are now committing to their own journey of faith.
