Every thing under the sun is for a REASON, SEASON, and a LIFETIME. God sent you into my life for a specific "reason" to save my life from the despair I was in and to help you build an amazing youth organization - from Ole School Express to Ole School Express Outreach Ministry - from 4/15/2013 (the day we met and you contacted me via Facebook)......that "season" ended today on 8/23/2021. From day one - you would say that "God Sent Me." Even in our differences and that you ain't going 'nowhere' until death do us apart......with TREMENDOUS sadness and pain, that day has arrived and I don't even know how to begin living life without you.
Remembering my 'Best-True' Friend and Business partner for eight years (Michael L. Purdie). It doesn't seem real that I have to say good-bye! My body is weak from all the crying today, but God knows what's best and it was your time to go home to rest. We were a great team and we changed a lot of young kids (K-12) and their families lives. We built and amazing youth organization together as President and Vice-President/Business Manager @ Ole School Express Outreach Ministry. I knew our time together was coming to an end because of all the sickness you were enduring. Seeing you for the last time yesterday (8/22/2021) on this side alive, came too soon. Wanting to say so much to me, but couldn't...but I could read your eyes and felt your spirit as we could do so well with each other. As I was making my YouTube video to honor you today, I knew it was your spirit that made my alarm system on my truck continue to go off, three times at a time - beep! beep! beep! saying "I Love You" as I was crying so hard....as I would always say in response - "I Love You Back" Michael. My SUV has never gone off on its own.....Thank you for visiting me and easing my pain and despair. This experience was really eerie, but I know it was you saying what you couldn't say at the hospital in your last hours. You fought a great fight and I will forever cherish the invaluable eight years that God gave us as "Best-True' Friends Forever - our bond was UNBREAKABLE!
I will truly miss....EVERYTHING that we shared....we prayed together, we read scriptures together, we sang together, we laughed together and cried together....NO ONE will ever take your place in my heart. We shared a very SPECIAL bond...unlike anything I have ever experienced in life. I worked from behind the scene, so you could shine....like the bright star you were.
You changed my life forever! You showed me REAL love and care. Thank you, my angel Michael! I will miss you for ETERNITY...until we meet again....Rest Well My Best-True Friend for Life and my Angel...Your job here was done well....enjoy your wings and your starry crown - you are 'FREE' - No more pain and no more suffering.
A special "Thank You" to all the sponsors, donors, and volunteers that supported Me and Michaels efforts and events through the years. My job as Vice-President/Business Manager @ Ole School Express Outreach Ministry is officially completed. May his legacy live on. I'm so thankful to have worked with such an amazing man, friend, leader, and motivator. He was my true inspiration, who let NOTHING stop him from achieving his goals. He did wonders typing with his stick to help me get the administrative aspects of business taken care of....he was so AMAZING. He learned from me very well, the different aspects of business....Well done, Michael! I'm so proud of you and all of your accomplishments on this side...GREATER was waiting for you on the other side. Until we meet again.......
