Author, Sharon Kurtzman, of the novel The Lost Baker of Vienna, will be speaking this Friday, April 24th. She will be at the Brew H2ouse at 1201 US Hwy 70, New Bern NC from 6pm-7:30pm discussing her family's Holocause experiences.

First Night of Chanukah
Menorah Lighting - Sunday, December 14, 2025

Union Point Park event begins at 4:30 pm. Before lighting the candles, we will tell the Chanukah story, have a sing a long, and give a few short speeches. The prayers will be the two Chanukah candle blessings and the Shechechyanu.
At Temple B'nai Sholem event begins at 5:30 pm – we will light our menorah, followed by Oneg.
