The late and well-known exorcist of the diocese of Rome, Fr. Gabriele Amorth, managed to extract some shocking phrases related to Eucharistic adoration in his countless exorcisms.

These words, torn from the demons, show the extraordinary power of being in the presence of the Blessed Sacrament.

Below I quote some of these phrases:

• “Here He is, hidden in this white bread! But it is not hidden from us; we see it, and its light burns us. It is like a fire that we cannot extinguish!”

• “This piece of bread is not just bread. It is He, the same one who threw us out of heaven! “We hate it, but we cannot approach it!”

• “If people knew who is really there, the whole world would kneel and we would be defeated forever!”

• “Every minute spent before Him takes away our strength. It forces us to flee like cowards!”

• “This place where they worship him is full of angels. We can’t get there even with our traps!

• “When you worship him, he strengthens your souls and destroys everything we have done in your lives.”

• “The hour before he takes the souls we have held captive for years. It is like a great war against us that we always lose!”

• “The Holy Hour fills your homes and families with light. “We cannot bear this light, it blinds us!”

• “When you make the Holy Hour for sinners, they receive his mercy and our chains are broken. This is our sentence!”

• “These hours of silence before him are like a hammer striking our heads. We cannot resist it!”

• “When they look at him, they say nothing, but he works in their hearts. It destroys us from within!”

• “Silence before him is more powerful than a thousand words. It fills them with grace and makes them invincible!”

• “Every moment of adoration of the souls in purgatory frees them. These acts are like swords that cut our chains!”

• “The souls he frees take the earth from us and we cannot get it back!”

• “When they offer honor to the dead, we lose and they gain His light. It is unbearable!”

• “Stop honoring the satisfactions! Every act before Him destroys what we have built with such great effort.”

• “When they make satisfaction for blasphemies and sacrileges, they weaken us more than they can imagine.”

• “The reparative cult is poison for us. It is as if they were destroying everything we do in their souls!”

• “Those who spend time before Him are protected! It is as if they have built a fire barrier around themselves. We cannot reach them easily!”

• “Every time one of you looks at him with faith, we receive a punishment that hurts us more than a thousand chains.”

• “When someone worships him with all their heart, he takes what is ours. Every time it humiliates us!”

• “These prayers before the Blessed Sacrament for sinners are our downfall. They will accept his mercy and do penance, and this will destroy our traps!”

• “When you pray for the lost before him, he shows you his love and breaks our chains. This is a disaster for us!”

• “Venerating sinners makes us powerless before them. He covers them with his blood and we can no longer touch them!”

• “It burns us, it burns us! “This light that radiates from the Blessed Sacrament is like a fire that never goes out.”

• “He lives there and we cannot bear him. His gaze destroys us.”

• “Every consecrated host is a torment for us. He is present and we cannot approach Him!”

• “The souls who dedicate themselves to Adoration are like swords that pierce us. We cannot defeat them!”

• “These small groups that honor Him are more powerful than our entire armies.”

• “One hour with Him is worth more than thousands of prayers that do not take into account His presence.”

• “Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is like rain that extinguishes the fires that we have lit in the world.”

• “These acts of worship bring peace to the earth."

On October 13, 1884, exactly 33 years to the day before the Miracle of the Sun in Fatima, Pope Leo XIII had a terrifying vision of the future of the Church. With a handful of cardinals and Vatican staff members in attendance, Pope Leo XIII had finished celebrating Mass in the Vatican Chapel. He suddenly stopped at the foot of the altar, his face having turned ashen white, and remained there standing for about ten minutes in a trance-like state.

Later, when asked what had happened, Pope Leo XIII said that as he was about to leave the altar he heard two voices. One voice was of a kind and gentle nature, while the other voice was guttural and grating. He listened to the voices, which seemed to emanate from the tabernacle, and overheard the following conversation:

The voice of Satan in his pride, boasted to our Lord:
“I can destroy your Church.”

The gentle voice of our Lord:
“You can? Then go ahead and do so.”

Satan:
“To do so, I need more time and more power.”

Our Lord:
“How much time? How much power?

Satan:
“75 to 100 years, and a greater power over those
who will give themselves over to my service.”

Our Lord:
“You have the time, you will have the power. Do with them what you will.”
After having the vision, Pope Leo immediately went from the Vatican Chapel to his private office and wrote the “Prayer to Saint Michael”, giving with it the instructions that it be prayed after all Low Masses.

Thank you Father Jim Parker!!!!!

St Bernard Prayer for The Shoulder Wound of Our Lord

"O Loving Jesus, Meek Lamb of God, I, a miserable sinner, salute and worship the most sacred wound of thy shoulder on which thou didst bear thy heavy cross, which so tore thy flesh and laid bare thy bones as to inflict on thee an anguish greater than any other wound of thy most blessed body. I adore thee, O Jesus most sorrowful; I praise and glorify thee and give thee thanks for this most sacred and painful wound, beseeching thee by that exceeding pain and by the crushing burden of thy heavy cross, to be merciful to me, a sinner, to forgive me all my mortal and venial sins and to lead me on towards Heaven along the Way of Thy Cross. Amen."

Padre Pio of Pietrelcina venerated the shoulder wound of Jesus, and bore it himself as a stigmata.

According to Stefano Campanella, author of "Il papa e il frate" (The Pope and the Friar), Karol Wojtyła (the future Pope John Paul II), while still a priest, visited Padre Pio and asked the question of which was his most painful wound – much like the manner Bernard did to Christ. Wojtyła expected that it was Pio's chest wound, but Pio replied: "It is my shoulder wound, which no one knows about and has never been cured or treated".

Prayer of St. Ambrose

O loving Lord Jesus Christ,
I, a sinner, not presuming on my own merits,
but trusting in Your mercy and goodness,
with fear and awe approach the table of Your most sacred banquet.

For I have stained both my heart and body with many sins,
and have not kept a strict guard over my mind and tongue.

Wherefore, O gracious God, O awful majesty, I, a wretched creature,
entangled in difficulties, have recourse to You, the fount of mercy;
to You I fly for healing and take refuge under Your protection,
and I ardently desire to have Him as my Savior whom I am unable to face as my Judge.

To You, Lord, I show my wounds, to You I lay bare my shame.
I know that my sins are many and great and on their account I am filled with fear.
But I trust in Your mercy, which is endless.

Look down on me, therefore, with the eyes of mercy, Lord Jesus Christ, eternal King,
God and Man, crucified for men. Hear me, for my hope is in You;
have mercy on me, for I am full of sin and wretchedness,
You who never cease to let flow the fountain of mercy.

Hail Victim of Salvation, offered for me and for all mankind on the tree of the cross.

Hail, noble and precious Blood, flowing from the wounds of my crucified Lord Jesus Christ
washing away the sins of the whole world.

Remember, Lord, Your creature, whom You have redeemed with Your Blood.

I am grieved because I have sinned. I desire to make amends for what I have done.
Take away from me, therefore, O most merciful Father, all my iniquities and my sins,
that, being purified both in soul and body, I may worthily partake of the Holy of Holies;
and grant that this holy oblation of Your Body and Blood, of which though unworthy I purpose to partake,
may be to me the remission of my sins, the perfect cleansing of all my offenses,
the means of driving away all evil thoughts and of renewing all holy desires,
the accomplishment of works pleasing to You,
as well as the strongest defense for soul and body against the snares of my enemies.

Amen.
