The youth group is heading home from BigStuf today. The theme this year was "flipside". We attended 7 sessions, each over an hour and a half long, along with a beach worship and a special late night worship the last day. The sessions focused on things like "the flipside of your doubt is a God who offers you peace" and "the flipside of your failure is the goodness of God". Great speakers, messages and music made for an inspiring week. I pray that these kids can lean into the things they learned this week and remember the conversations they had in small groups as they continue to grow their faith. 🙏

The New Berlin Youth Group at IGUMC is attending BigStuf this week in PCB, Florida! We grabbed a quick leader pic tonight because one of our leaders has to leave early tomorrow. We will post more about our week in the coming days but wanted to take this oppurtunity to thank these leaders for devoting their time and pouring into these kids not only this week but all year. We could not do it without you! ❤️🙏

Once again, the Angel Tree program is a wrap for 2024! There are so many we would like to thank for making this program a true success! Thank you to the Loami Pub ladies for a very successful fundraiser and all the hard work you put into it! Thank you to Island Grove United Methodist Church & Brenda Neuman, for the wonderful food boxes that are so pretty and needed! Thank you for all of the donors who give generous donations every year! Thank you to the New Berlin and Loami Volunteer Firefighters for loading and delivering gifts to families! Thank you to Central Baptist Church for the very needed use of the building! Thank you to Jill Larson and CUSD #16 for letting us put the tree up in the vestibule every year! Thank you to all who chose a tag and purchased gifts for the children! Thank you to Loami Christian Church, New Berlin Christian Church, St. Mary's Church for choosing tags, buying gifts and necessities for families! Thank you to the Angel Tree Committee for buying coats, shoes, and extras that are always needed! Thank you for all of the coordination of gifts for each family! It truly takes a village to make this all come together and happen each and every year! Please forgive us if we missed anyone that helped in any way! Our hearts are so full and incredibly appreciative for the love and generosity shown to children and families in the CUSD #16 school district! May your 2025 be filled with joy, happiness and many blessings!
