This recital offers more than world-class music—it's an immersive experience in one of New England's most stunning sacred spaces. St. Anthony's soaring 256-foot spire marks the second-tallest church in New England, while inside, hand-carved angels and 112 stained-glass windows by renowned artist Guido Nincheri (installed 1952) create an atmosphere visitors describe as "stepping into heaven itself."

Join Greater New Bedford Choral Society for a magical start to the holidays! This year’s holiday concert will explore how composers of different eras, religions, and backgrounds use music to celebrate the holiday season. The concert will be at the beautiful Grace Episcopal Church and will include selections ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary, original works celebrating both Hanukkah and Christmas, and timeless holiday favorites.

Tickets are $20.00 and available at the door or from a chorus member.

This year, Music at St Anthony’s will not have a Christmas Concert. This is only due to personal reasons of all our team members.

A HUGE thank you and Christmas best wishes to all our dedicated Spirit of St Anthony Choir members. We all miss singing together and will meet again soon.

The good news is that we raised enough money to replace the bellows for our 113 year old, historic Casavant pipe organ. We worked really hard on that. Now we need to get into the schedule with the organ builder so the work can be completed.

We continue to plan for future programming.

Thank you to everyone who has followed our progress and provided so much encouragement and support. Watch our page for future events.

The mighty pipe organ can be heard every Sunday at 9:30 Mass.

Midnight Mass on Christmas eve is preceded by a short 30 minute program with our multi-lingual choir. The church is open for all to enjoy and celebrate the reason for the season. The birthday of Our Lord, Jesus Christ.
