“If you were being scammed, would you want to know? Would you feel some urgency to disentangle yourself from the scam as soon as possible?

In this workshop we will shine a light on the biggest scam ever…the mind of self-cherishing.

Self-cherishing is a deep-seated attitude that believes that ” I and anything that I am associated with, is the most important thing in the world”. Self-cherishing promises happiness, but delivers only pain, keeping us in a loop of attachment, anger, and chronic dissatisfaction. It is the underlying source of our personal unhappiness, relational difficulties as well as, global and environmental problems. Using Buddhist wisdom and guided meditations, we will have the opportunity to explore how the mind of self-cherishing scams us continually, and how to disentangle ourselves from it.

Tea and snacks will be served after the workshop.

No prior meditation experience necessary. Everyone is welcome.

How to Get the Most Out of Your Relationships

Relationships can feel difficult, and we often find ourselves frustrated and unsure how to move forward. It’s challenging when we get triggered by those closest to us.

If we don’t address these habit patterns, stress and resentment just keep growing. Buddha taught practical methods for relating to others with love, kindness and compassion. As we improve our love and other good qualities, negative emotions lose their power, our relationships improve and we begin to experience real peace.
