25 years ago today, the landscape of America changed in more ways than one.

Today, we remember.

We remember the lives that were lost, the families whose lives were forever changed, and the first responders who ran toward danger when everyone else was running away.

We remember the courage, the sacrifice, the grief, and the countless stories that still carry the weight of that day.

And we lament.

We pray for those who still carry the scars of September 11, 2001, and we ask God to make us people of compassion, courage, peace, and hope in a world that still desperately needs them.

May we never forget.

What does it actually look like for the gospel to change a person?

In Romans 12, Paul turns from everything God has done for us to the kind of life that should flow from His mercy. He calls us to offer our whole lives to God, allow Him to renew the way we think, use our gifts to serve others, love genuinely, and refuse to let evil shape who we become.

This week, we’ll look at what it means to become a living sacrifice, a people so transformed by the mercy of Jesus that it changes how we think, how we worship, how we treat one another, and even how we respond to those who hurt us.

Join us live or watch the message anytime as we continue our journey through Romans. Visit us online at http://www.wearevineyard.com - Thank you for your generosity!

You can be familiar with God’s story and still miss God’s Son.

Church attendance, family history, Bible knowledge, even being around the things of God are not the same as trusting Jesus.

Don’t confuse being connected with being surrendered.

Israel is proof that God does not give up easily. Thank God for that.

You may run. You may stumble. You may make a mess of things. But you will not outrun the patience of God.

There is one Savior and one way through Jesus Christ for all of us.

Israel has a unique calling, but not an alternative Savior. And sometimes grace sounds less like a warm hug and more like: “I love you. Now knock it off.” 😂

Some of the chapters we’re most ashamed of are the ones we wish no one could see.

There may be real consequences for our choices, but our failure does not get the final word. We also face a Savior who is patient, forgiving, and full of grace.

Israel’s story reminds us of something we desperately need to remember: our failure does not cancel God’s faithfulness.

You will not sin God off His throne. We are always dependent on His grace, His patience, and His mercy.
