We still have no power at our church building-4 weeks now from Ice Storm Fern 2026! But we have still gathered and worshipped and praised God for his blessings! Last Sunday Jay’s lesson was “Let There Be Light: Staying Strong in Times of Darkness” and today it was “All the Lonely People: Staying Strong in Lonely Times”. Pray that our power is restored by next Sunday, but either way we will still gather to worship! Thankful we can gather no matter what!

Ice Storm 2026 has been hard! Our Church building and many of our members are still without power, but a few Buddy Propane heaters helped us warm the fellowship room. Sunlight through the windows, blankets, hot coffee and hot chocolate brought in, and we gathered to worship and thank God for His blessings in the midst of hardship. Prayers continue for everyone affected during this time!🙏

I have been teaching kids about the Tabernacle at Enterprise for more than 30 years, and enjoy having the kids produce a model from some of the things they learned. The Tabernacle consisted of three main areas: the outer courtyard, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies. Each area had specific elements like altars, a table for showbread, a lampstand (menorah), and the Ark of the Covenant, all with deep symbolic meaning. For the summer they have been working on their model. This is my 3rd group to do it. The 1st was probably 30 years ago, the 2nd 20 years ago, and tonight the 3rd was completed. Some in my 1st and 2nd group all those years ago are parents, and aunt & uncles of the ones that worked on this one! I think they did a great job! I appreciate them!

Our L2L youth read scripture, led songs, and gave speeches for us tonight in preparation for L2L convention next weekend! Didn’t get a picture of everyone but pictured are Alex Baird, Baylor Moore, and Cohen Moore giving speeches, and Avery Baird read scripture and led a song for the ladies in the fellowship hall! Not pictured but participating in speeches, song leading, and several art categories are Maggie Baird, Liam Baird, Benjamin Baird, and Charlotte Holley. We are so proud of these young people!
