Today we also had a wonderful worship service where we welcomed a new member! 🙏🏼

Cher came forward and with her affirmation of faith shared the desire to become part of Central Christian.

We are so excited to welcome Cher into the family of faith, and look forward to walking with her in our lives of discipleship.

Today’s church cookout on the lawn sponsored by the Green Team was a BIG success! Beautiful weather, great food, wonderful fellowship, and a joyful afternoon spent together as a church family.

We also had a fun plant swap that had people going home with some great plants! 🌱

We’re grateful to everyone who helped organize, cook, set up, clean up, brought plants to share, and simply showed up. 🌭☀️💚

Their conversation revolved around the recent decision to close the food pantry at the local library, but also touch on what we can do next, what it means to neighborly, and building back community. 🙏🏼
