Is there unrighteousness with God? Romans 9:14 answers with an absolute no — and the implications of that truth should change everything about how we live.

This Sunday, Pastor Josh walked us through what it truly means that God is holy, that He is our refuge, and that He is just and upright. Because there is no unrighteousness in Him, obedience is not optional for the believer. Salvation is the beginning of the journey, not the destination.

Where do you run when life overwhelms you? God is your shield, your high tower, your escape. He is actively defending you, avenging you, and helping you — not a distant Savior but a present one. Does your life reflect the holy God who saved you?

What does it look like to love people the way God loves them? This week Pastor Josh walked us through Romans 9:1-5 and the staggering depth of Paul's love for his kinsmen — a love so consuming he would have willingly traded his own salvation for theirs.

Paul's grief was not passing sympathy. It was permanent, relentless sorrow for those rejecting Jesus. That kind of love does not come from us — it comes from God. John 15:13 and 1 John 3:16 remind us that true love is selfless, unconditional, and willing to lay everything down.

The question Pastor Josh left us with is a hard one: Do you love people the way Jesus loves you? When you see someone hurting or lost, is your first concern their salvation? If not, it is time to get honest with God and let Him change your heart.
