Another Update for the Prayer Walk:

There's been enough interest in the walk that even if it's still a little below 60° we're walking this week after church as long as it's not raining.
Just in case it's chilly, we'll walk the White route which is the shortest.

This will be right after service, so dress appropriate & bring a snack if you think you'll be hungry.

Lora & I are planning a prayer walk around Nevada over the next three Sundays. We will be anointing each of the village signs.

In Gen 13 God told Abraham to walk the land w a promise for the next generations (please read Gen 13:14-17).

It's our prayer that God will extend this not only to Nevada, but to all of our communities.

We've divided Nevada into three routes if others would like to walk w us or drive to meet us at that route's village sign.

NCC Prayer Request from Pastor John:

Rom 8:32-35 tells us
Jesus Christ is still risen & HE is still our Savior!
HE is our Savior from sin & separation from God the Father.
HE is also our Savior from tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril, & sword.
Nothing can separate us from HIM.
HE is risen, has ascended, & sits at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for us.

Our personal relationship w HIM impacts our families, our families impact our churches, our churches impact our communities, our communities impact our nation & world.

I know there's a lot going on in the world as a whole, but let's please remember that we have several individuals w pending medical procedures/illnesses, personal struggles, & new jobs/job prospects.
Prayers for them are prayers to the same God through Jesus Christ that is over the whole world.

† May God bless us physically, mentally, & spiritually. May our personal relationship w Him impact the world.
May God bless our families, communities, our nation (our government, military, & servicemen/servicewomen), & the world.

This Sunday after Communion we will be praying & anointing someone for physical healing & restoration.
I pray, though, that this not be exclusive, & that others would receive whatever God is willing to offer.

I firmly believe that James 5:13-16 applies to physical, mental, & spiritual needs.

As the Holy Spirit provides, please consider letting others know about this service. They may think I'm just a crazy preacher, but your invitation & participation may legitimize the opportunity.
