Devotional thought for the day:

Failure is not Final !!!

God's forgiveness, grace, and mercies are not to be abused with a lustful, loose living lifestyle.
Paul tells the church at Corinth,
(1 Corinthians 6:19) that their (our) bodies are the "temple of the Holy Ghost.....and ye are not your own."

May The Lord help us always to be thankful for His forgiveness, and may we strive more each day to live holy and pleasing to Him!!!

Dr. Adrian Rogers said: ”All of us fail. Use your failures as a guidepost to lead you on.”

VBS was such a blessing with 24 kids and our baby Riggs with his smiles 😃😃!!!

Devotional thought for the day:

Psalm 122:1 "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the LORD."

Freedom to "Go into the House of The LORD"

As we just celebrated America's 250th Independence Day, this is one of many freedoms we have!!!

Matthew Henry's thoughts concerning this verse:
The invitation was very welcoming. David was himself glad, and would have every Israelite to say that he was glad, when he was called upon to go up to the house of the Lord.
It is the will of God that we should worship him in concert, that many should join together to wait upon him in public ordinances. We ought to worship God in our own houses, but that is not enough; we must go into the house of the Lord, to pay our homage to him there, and not forsake the assembling of ourselves together. Also, We should not only agree with one another, but excite and stir up one another, to go to worship God in public. Let us go"

I sure am thankful for the place of worship!!!!!

Luke 24:27 "And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, He expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning Himself."

Dr. Adrian Rogers said,
The central theme of the Bible is Jesus. If you look long enough, every page of Scripture tells His story.

Read those verses, read that Chapter, read your Bible and you will find Jesus on every page!!!
It's all about Him!!!

This little light of mine, I'm gonna let it shine!!!!!!!💡🕯💡🕯💡🕯

Matthew 5:14-16 "Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

Charles Spurgeon quotes, "The Bible is not the light of the world, it is the Light of the Church. But the world does not read the Bible, they read the Christians!"

We are to let our light so shine before men that in all we do, God will be Glorified!!
