Let us extend our congratulations to Brandon Hayes, the son of Bro. Curtis and Kaneisha Hayes, on his remarkable achievement. Brandon Hayes, a talented product of Southeastern Louisiana, earned a first-team All-Southland Conference selection for the second straight season as a kick returner. As one of only five FCS players, the Hattiesburg, Mississippi native returned multiple kickoffs for touchdowns in consecutive games this past season. Hayes' impressive kickoff return average of 30.7 yards ranked third best in the FCS. In 2025, Hayes contributed 227 receiving yards, 107 rushing yards, and a pair of receiving touchdowns. In 2024, he averaged 26.7 yards per kickoff return and scored four total touchdowns, including one on a kickoff return. Hayes, a Southland Conference All-Academic Team selection, earned his MBA from Southeastern Louisiana in the fall. He has joined the Philadelphia Eagles as a wide receiver.
