I mean... it's worth a try...

You know the struggle. The server brings out a basket of warm chips and fresh salsa, and before the meal even arrives, you've already eaten enough to feel full. So here's the question: Do chips and salsa count as a meal? And are you supposed to pray before eating the appetizers? The calories probably won't disappear, but taking a moment to give thanks before diving in certainly can't hurt. What's your verdict—appetizer, snack, or meal?

The truth is, friendships rarely happen by accident. They grow through simple conversations, shared experiences, and just spending time together. If you're looking for deeper connections at church, try sticking around for a few minutes after service, introducing yourself to someone new, or getting involved in a group or ministry. It might feel a little awkward at first, but before long, those familiar faces can become meaningful friendships. Who was the first person who made you feel welcome at church?

Don’t underestimate what God can do through you. Sometimes we think we don’t have enough to offer, but God loves using ordinary people in extraordinary ways. A kind word, an encouraging text, a prayer, or an invitation can make a bigger difference than you realize. You never know how God might use a simple act of obedience to impact someone's life. What is one thing God may be asking you to do today? Say "yes" to God.

The good news is that God doesn't leave when things get difficult. He walks with us through every storm, every challenge, and every uncertainty. No matter what you're facing today, you're not facing it alone. What storm are you trusting God to help you through right now?
