We made it!! 🎉🎉🎉 We don't have exact figures yet - checks still coming in - but with what's in the bank already, we reached the $20,000 mark. TAKE THE FRIENDS CHALLENGE!!! We're on the last stretch to reach the amount needed for the MATCHING FUNDS for the COVERED DECK PROJECT. June 30, 2017 is the deadline to receive an anonymous donation of $20,000. WE CAN DO THIS!!!

What is a FRIENDS CHALLENGE? You know how much the campgrounds means to you. You've experienced great times on the grounds. You probably made a lot of new friends and visited with former friends. Your life is different because of the time you were here.

NOW is the time to connect with your friends. Let them know about the campgrounds and how being there changed your life. Tell them about the Covered Deck project and ask them to support the project with a one-time gift of $20 or $10 or whatever amount to help this happen.

Imagine what will happen when enough of us share with 5 friends. We'll raise the money for the Project AND you may change someone else's life when they hear what happened to you at camp.

OZARK DECK CHALLENGE
It's a new year- which means camping season will soon be here. AND also the DEADLINE FOR OUR CHALLENGE!!

You can help in several ways:
1) Send a donation to Ozark Deck Project, c/o Leslie Brooks at 3028 CR 2700, Independence KS 67301;
2) Share this information with anyone you know who's attended the campgrounds and/or might be interested in helping (original info is listed below); and
3) Plan a fundraiser for your congregation or group. Board members can help. Comment below that you want a fundraiser and someone will contact you.

Imagine: It’s a beautiful day at the Ozark campgrounds. A large gathering of campers sit on the new deck on the west side of the lodge. The view is the fish in the pond below and the valley full of children playing. You can hear the water flowing, the children laughing and in that moment, the Spirit of God is felt with all nature smiling!

It can happen: Ozark Camp and Retreat has received a matching gift of $20,000. Here are the stipulations: We have 6 months to raise $20,000. The matching $20,000 will then be given and the deck will become a blessed gift for all to enjoy!

We need your help: The deadline is June 30th, 2017. Let’s meet this challenge!
