God is amazingly merciful to people who genuinely turn from their sins. When he forgives, nothing alienates us from him now, and nothing will isolate us from him in eternity. But in between, we still have to live with consequences. How can we do it faithfully? Worship and learn with us this evening at 5:00.

The Bible gives us some hard words to say. "Mahershalalhashbaz" (Isaiah 8:1)--say that three times fast (or one time slow)! But the hardest things the Bible leads us to say don't require verbal gymnastics. They require a broken and contrite heart. During the most fateful time in his life, for David it began with, "I have sinned." Then the floodgates opened. Worship with us today at 5:00, study Psalm 51, and see how the hard words make things better.
