We love our deployers here at Nellis AFB Chapel!! Led by Ch, Capt Catalina Rosado, SrA Victor Magaña and arranged by Ch, Capt Marek Krol, the Chapel hosted a Post Deployment resiliency trip held at Emerald Cave in Willow Beach, Arizona. The cost was free to our deployers as they were fed, trained, provided with resiliency materials and given some much needed time away!

Members experienced a 4 Hour Guided Tour of Emerald Cave, a resiliency discussion led by Ch Rosado and were able to learn ways to re-integrate after coming home and cope with the invisible wounds often suffered on deployments. Our participants reported that they "appreciate what the Chapel does for deployers" and are "happy that I kayaked for the very first time!" 😎 🚣‍♀️ 🛶

Your Nellis Chapel team, led by Ch, 1st Lt Peter Lyon and SrA Victor Magaña recently hosted a Single and Dorm Airmen resiliency trip held at K1 Speed in Las Vegas. The cost was free to our dorm and single Airmen as they were fed, trained with resiliency materials and given some much needed fun time!

Members met at the Nellis Chapel for a free lunch and a resiliency discussion led by Ch Lyon and were able to learn ways to be better at their jobs, better Airmen and how to serve selflessly. Our participants reported that they "want to do that again" and are "grateful that the Nellis AFB Chapel puts on events like this!" 😎 🏁 🏎

Recently, some awesome Nellis Chapel Team members were able to serve a delicious breakfast to our Nellis AFB Force Support Squadron! The "Nellis Chapel Snack Shack" was in rare form!! 🚚 😋 🥓 🍳

Thank you, Ch, Capt Marek Krol, SrA Andreana Fisher and Ch, 1st Lt Peter Lyon for blessing our FSS members, who are always busy serving our entire base with the best Force Support any base has to offer! 😎

Because we've seen a LOT of our Nellis Airmen deploy and return home, your Chapel Team has been busy hosting resiliency events for our deployers and redeployers.

Led by Ch, Capt Marek Krol, these Airmen were treated to free meals, resiliency materials and training. Finally, they learned tools for dealing with the stress of a looming deployment and also adjusting as they return home.

Big thanks to our Nellis Outdoor Recreation folks for partnering with us!! 🛥 😎 🌞 ⛱️

Your Nellis Chapel team, led by Ch, 1st Lt Peter Lyon and TSgt Janica Regala recently hosted a Single and Dorm Airmen resiliency trip held at Summerlin Paintball. The cost was free to our dorm and single Airmen but the benefit was incredible!

Members met at the Nellis Chapel for a free lunch and a resiliency discussion led by Ch Lyon and were able to learn ways to be better at their jobs, better Airmen and how to serve selflessly. Our participants reported that they "had a blast" and are "ready to go on the next event!" Maybe next time they'll take it easy on their chaplain, he looks rough! 😎 🔫

Readiness requires trust, connection, and renewal.
Single and Dorm Airmen from Nellis AFB stepped away to the Marble Canyon Lodge, AZ for a retreat — through The Speed of Trust training, team-building, and a spiritual recharge.
Led by the Nellis Chapel's Ch Benjamin Shelton, TSgt Harmony Rush, SrA Maleah Bryant and Ch Joseph Phipps this weekend strengthened the relationships that drive mission readiness.
"Refreshed for duty. Ready for what’s next."
