Marquette County folks:

Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 21st at 11:30 is a Meet and Greet for the ELDER ALLY BOOK GROUP at St. John's Episcopal Negaunee. A Soup Lunch will be served and we will talk about how to be a supportive ally to the LGBTQ+ Community.

This group is specifically for older wanna-be allies who desire a conversation space to get questions answered and imaginations ignited.

If this group is not for you but it sounds like a perfect match for someone else, please help spread the word.

We are excited to host a Q***r Conversation Book Club especially for Elder Allies. It is 3 meetings in the Fall, 3 meetings in the Winter, and a couple of group activities. Being an Elder Ally means that our love and acceptance and positive feedback makes a difference. AND we need a place to discuss the ins and outs, a place for our questions.

Please come and please share.

First meeting this coming Thursday at 11:30am. There will always be yummy soup to eat, and warm hospitality.

The Episcopal Diocese of Michigan is excited to partner with Equality Michigan for another year of Reading and Conversation about LGBTQ+ realities. St. John's Episcopal in Negaunee is especially excited to host an elder ally conversation.
