Do you know who you truly are? In today's message from Hickory Hill Baptist Church, we look at King David’s psalm of praise in Psalm 139:14: "I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made."

You are not an accident. You are a Child of God, built with a specific design and a divine mandate. Remember these 4 powerful points today; You Are:

1️⃣ Created with dignity
2️⃣ Called with purpose
3️⃣ Empowered for greatness
4️⃣ Commissioned to shine

Go back and listen to the full word so that you may grow mightily from it! Have a blessed day!

Provoke One Another to Love! ❤️ Join Us for Sunday School & our 5th Sunday Youth Academy Service (P.R.A.Y.)

Grace and peace, Church Family! We are so excited to gather in the sanctuary today, and we invite you to join us for Sunday School and our special 5th Sunday Youth Academy service (P.R.A.Y.)!

Our Sunday School lesson for the week of May 31, 2026, is titled "PROVOKE ONE ANOTHER!". We are diving into Matthew 28:18-20 and Hebrews 10:22-25 to explore the Great Commission. The lesson reminds us that Christians have a great message to share, and we are commanded to take the Good News everywhere we go—from our cars to the store, and beyond the church walls. We will also discuss the vital importance of not forsaking our assembling together, so we can provoke one another to love and good works.

✨ Sunday School Rewind: Finding Your Well-Earned Rest ✨

Did you miss this week's Sunday School session? We dove deep into Mark 2 and had an incredible conversation about what the Sabbath really means for us today.

It’s easy to feel weary, heavy-laden, and burnt out by the constant demands of life, but our class reminded us of a powerful truth: God didn’t rest on the seventh day because He was tired. He rested to establish a divine pattern for us. Finding time to step back and recharge isn't just a suggestion; it's an act of obedience! ☝🏿

But true rest isn't just about pausing our labor. It's about recognizing when the Bridegroom is present and taking the time to actively feast on His Word. We discussed how we can't just rely on being "spoon-fed" on Sunday mornings. If we want our capacity for God's Spirit to expand, we have to study the Word for ourselves and let go of rigid, old traditions that can't hold the new wine Christ is pouring into our lives. 📖

Ultimately, Jesus showed the Pharisees that genuine compassion and meeting human needs will always matter more than strict, legalistic rules. When we come together with that kind of love—when we bring our individual sticks together in true fellowship—we kindle a much greater, undeniable fire than any of us could ever build alone. 🔥🙌🏿

Let’s claim our well-earned rest and keep growing together this week. Drop a 🙏🏿 in the comments if you are taking time to rest and recharge!

Join us in the sanctuary next Sunday morning at 9:30 AM to catch the next lesson live.
