First, we would like to thank Wharton ISD for opening their doors to Greater New Prospect Baptist Church and allowing us to host our very first 3-on-3 Youth Basketball Tournament. Your support helped make this event a success!

🏀 Team Results
🥇 1st Place: Tigers (Kyre, Cannon, and Kace)
🥈 2nd Place: Goats (Noah, Elijah, and Jerry)
🥉 3rd Place: Ballers (Carter, Marcus, and Makhi)

Congratulations to all of our players for their hard work, sportsmanship, and competitive spirit!

🏀 3-Point Contest

The 3-Point Contest was a huge hit! We kicked things off with the babies’ division, and it was a joy to watch our youngest participants show off their skills and enthusiasm.

Now, let’s talk about our amazing parents and supporters! Jennifer, Herman, Tim, Maria, Sharon, and Pam stepped up to participate in the Parent 3-Point Contest, bringing plenty of energy, laughs, and friendly competition. After some impressive shooting, Tim Waid (Carter’s dad) claimed 1st place honors! Thank you all for being great sports and showing the kids how it’s done.

A special thank you goes to Landy Williams, Chief of Police for Wharton ISD, as well as Ronnie Baines and Coach Hearse for your support and contributions in helping make this event possible. Your dedication to our youth and our community is truly appreciated.

To every player, parent, volunteer, supporter, and church member who helped make this event possible—thank you from the bottom of my heart. Seeing our youth come together for fellowship, fun, and friendly competition was truly a blessing.

We are already looking forward to the next one! ❤️🏀
