We had seven awesome kids come and help us prepare a meal yesterday at the Ronald McDonald House in Charlestown! They helped make breakfast burritos for families to have on the go as well as lasagna, salad, and brownies for dinner!

Good Morning all! My name is Grace Rish and I am the youth minister here at Saint Joseph! I have loved getting to know so many of you all the past few months, thank you so much for being so welcoming to me! If you do not know, I also work in a pediatric oncology research lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. My work focuses on the role the thymus, specifically T cell development, may play in neuroblastoma. Institutional grants, like the Claudia James Barr Award, are vital to making sure our work happens. When I heard that the Barr, a grant my lab has received, was funded by the DFMC team, it became a no-brainer to apply and try to use my passion for running for a greater good! Today is official Boston Marathon giving day, if you are able to donate, I would be very grateful, and remember any small bit helps! Also, if you have any questions about what we do in the lab do not hesitate to reach out! Thank you!

Good Morning everyone!

Yesterday afternoon Saint Joseph Youth Ministry prepared breakfast for dinner for the guests at the Ronald McDonald House! We made sausage, egg, and cheese casserole, French Toast casserole, and fruit salad. It was a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon in service to others!

Something special for the youth this Lent

In today's Gospel we see the fall of Adam and Eve paralleled with Jesus resisting the temptations of Satan in the desert. This Lent let us challenge ourselves to fast for these forty days and forty nights so that we may grow to know the love of God in order to the face temptations of the evil one. Have a great Sunday!
