Church Announcement: In Loving Memory of Brother Richard T. “Dicky” Crouse
Onondaga Nation United Methodist Church
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we, the Onondaga Nation United Methodist Church family, announce the passing of our beloved brother, Richard T. “Dicky” Crouse, who entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 25, 2025.
Brother Dicky was more than a member — he was the backbone of our church, a faithful servant of God whose hands and heart held this congregation together for many years. His quiet strength, his unwavering presence, and his humble dedication spoke louder than words ever could. Whether it was preparing the church for worship, checking on the furnace, or making sure every pew was ready for prayer, Dicky served with love and purpose.
We are deeply saddened by his passing, as are all our members who knew and loved him dearly. His life was a testimony of faith, work, and community — a shining example of what it means to live out the Gospel through service.
We lift his wife, Suzanne, his children — Shawn, Jeremy, Curtis, Wesley, and Noni — his siblings, his grandchildren, and the entire Crouse family in our prayers. May God comfort them with His everlasting peace and surround them with His love.
Funeral arrangements:
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, October 29, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, followed by a service at 12:00 p.m. at Butler-Badman Funeral Home, 4504 W. Seneca Turnpike. Interment will follow in the Crouse Family Cemetery.
Brother Dicky’s legacy will forever remain in the walls of our church and in the hearts of all who served beside him. We thank God for the gift of his life and the years we were blessed to walk together in faith.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your Lord.”
— Matthew 25:23
