Movida USA

We are an international, interdenominational and intercultural Christian ministry working on behalf of Latino youth and the local church!

The purpose of Movida USA is to motivate young people to grow in their personal relationships with Jesus by training them to use their gifts and talents to better serve their local churches and in world missions. Our vision: Young Latinos committed to God and His Mission, serving inter-culturally to impact the world. Our mission:
✅ To challenge young Christians to completely surrender to God and

to grow in their relationship with Him.
✅ To provide tools for them to discover their gifts and talents.
✅ To motivate them to a committed service in their local church and in global missions.

🌎 MOVIDA in USA:
Movida USA was founded by Scott Langemeier in 2013. Groups of Americans have participated in international CIMAs and programs such as Mission Adventure and Short-Term. There are currently two missionaries serving full time.

📖 Sola Scriptura – because God’s Word is our ultimate authority.
🙏 Sola Fide – because we are saved through faith, not our efforts.
🤍 Sola Gratia – because salvation is a gift we could never earn.
✝ Solus Christus – because Christ alone is our mediator and Savior.
👑Soli Deo Gloria – because our lives exist for the glory of God alone.

These truths shaped the Reformation—and they still shape genuine disciples of Jesus today. Not as abstract theology, but as a daily way of living, trusting, and walking with Him.

🙏🌍 Pray for the unreached | 𝒀𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒂 𝑲𝒂𝒏𝒖𝒓𝒊 🇳🇬

Be part of God's mission by praying for ethnic groups who have not yet heard the gospel!

🤍 Ask God to raise up prayer teams who will begin breaking up the soil through intercession.
🤍 Pray that God will grant favor to mission agencies currently focusing on the Kanuri peoples.
🤍 Ask the Lord to raise up strong local churches among the Yerwa Kanuri.
