Where has Flat SJ been lately? 👀🦅
Flat SJ joined Karlene, Schyler, Kara, Sophie, Lynzie, Sam, Crystal, Joyce, Karen, Judy, and Jaime (behind the camera) as they transformed the church into Rainforest Falls during setup day. Everyone had a great time preparing and couldn't wait for the kids to see it all come to life!
Flat SJ joined Kate Zimmer and her proud grandparents, Ralph and Christina ("Pappy and Grammy”) and parents at Kate's ballet recital! The recital was extra special because her teachers, Erin Daley and Fiona Daley, are fellow St. John's members. Fiona is also an accomplished ballet dancer!
Flat SJ made a stop at the NEP Synod Office, where he spent some time hanging out with Martin Luther in Deacon Chelle Huth's office at the Lutheran Center.
Liam Doriety brought Flat SJ to Bushkill Creek in Jacobsburg State Park, where they enjoyed the cool water and spent time skipping rocks.
Mary Hillebrenner and her dear friends Valarie, Freddie, and Marley Rae Simmons brought Flat SJ along on a trip to Gettysburg, where they explored the rich history of the Battle of Gettysburg and the Civil War. While it was a first visit for some of the group, Mary shared that even after visiting many times, she learns something new with every trip!
The adventure continued at Gettysburg National Cemetery, where they spent time visiting, learning, and enjoying a beautiful day.
Flat SJ stopped by Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School, where kids and volunteers have been having an amazing week of faith, fun, and adventure!
Thank you for continuing to take Flat SJ on your adventures! Whether exploring history, celebrating milestones, enjoying nature, or helping prepare for ministry, SJ is having an unforgettable summer. 📸🦅

Flat SJ:
- celebrated Benjamin Krause's kindergarten graduation in the backyard. School's out and summer is officially here!
- spent some quiet reading time with Karlene Kipp.
- joined Ben Miller at Family Camp at Camp Moseywood and enjoyed a row around the lake.
- spent some time with pup Zoey while Karen and Judy were dog-sitting in Center Valley.

Thank you to everyone who has taken Flat SJ along on your adventures! From reading books and ringing bells to escape rooms, graduations, church events, and amusement parks, SJ is having an incredible summer - and there are still plenty more adventures ahead! 📸🦅

Jesus sends the disciples out to tell the good news of God’s love for all. Who told you about God’s love? Know that you too are sent to share the love of God in word and deed. The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 580, 883, 575, 584, and 576.

Where has Flat SJ been lately? 👀🦅

Karlene, Alayna, Vincent, and Ryan took Flat SJ to Captured LV Escape Room in Allentown, where they successfully escaped from The Whimsical Wizard's Workshop! They had a great time and highly recommend trying an escape room at least once.

Rita, Joanne, Judy, Lynne, Linda, Patrice, Madison, and Judy Jones brought Flat SJ along to Coca-Cola Park to participate in the Bach Choir Patriotic Sing-A-Long.
Robbie Houck and Flat SJ helped with the Bell Choir's Polish, Pack, and Picnic event in Fellowship Hall.

Pastors Scott and Jennifer attended Synod Assembly with Pastor Tara Lynn, a former campus ministry student of Pastor Scott's who is now serving as a pastor herself. Flat SJ joined them for a little "assemblying" along the way!

Karen Furler gave Flat SJ a bird's-eye view of the congregation from the media camera room while helping run the Sunday livestream. SJ also joined Karen in the sanctuary for the final bell rehearsal of the season, perched among the chimes on her bell table.

Robbie Houck and Flat SJ helped with the Bell Choir's Polish, Pack, and Picnic event in Fellowship Hall.

Peter, Dylan, and Robin brought Flat SJ to Dorney Park for a special day with the "A Kid Again" organization.
