Conflict is a part of relationships and life in communicate. Jesus's words in today's gospel are often used in situations having to do with church discipline. The prophet Ezekiel tells of warning the wicked to turn from their ways, and Paul reminds us that love is the fulfilling of the law. We gather in the name of Christ, assured that he is present among us with gifts of peace and reconciliation.

Where has Flat SJ been lately? 👀🦅

Mark and Cindy Aloise took Flat SJ on a very special trip down memory lane! They stopped at a Friendly’s in South Weymouth, Massachusetts, where they lived 40 years ago, while celebrating 40 years of marriage! Their Massachusetts adventure continued in Salem, where they enjoyed some sightseeing, visited a shop owner Cindy knew from LA, and discovered some fabulous lobster bisque! They also explored Pickering Wharf before continuing their vacation in Sandwich, the oldest town in Cape Cod.

The Miller family brought Flat SJ to Camp Mosey Wood to drop off Allana, who has been working there all summer, and Addy, who is headed off for her own camping adventure!

Benjamin Vail spent some time at Nature Day Camp at Bear Creek Camp. BCC is an amazing camp! Benjamin and Abigail Vail also hit the trails, hiking Mt. Tammany in the Delaware Water Gap.

Jackie, Cindy, Sue, and Wayne brought Flat SJ along with their St. John's Birthday Club for a special time entertaining the residents at Gracedale.

Liam Doriety traveled to New Jersey to visit family and stopped at Rutt's Hut for a famous "ripper" and a Yoo-hoo. He also spent some time at home tending to his garden!

Nancy Tammi took Flat SJ all the way to the Bay of Fundy in Nova Scotia, Canada. She and her mom Barbara Tammi also explored Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. Talk about some beautiful summer adventures!

From celebrating 40 years of marriage and revisiting old memories to camping, hiking, serving others, gardening, and exploring new places, Flat SJ is certainly making the most of summer!
