Where has Flat SJ been this week? 👀🦅

Flat SJ visited the NEP Synod Office with Deacon Chelle and Bishop Chris deForest as they worked in ministry for our synod! They were excited to share SJ and bring him along on their journeys.

Flat SJ also spent time with the Houck family while Peter and Dylan played lacrosse for the Nazareth Clippers Boys K-2 team! 🥍

Thank you for taking Flat SJ along on your adventures! We can’t wait to see where he goes next! 📸

𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Join us for worship on Saturday at 5:30pm or on Sunday at 9:15am.

Our 9:15am Sunday service is live streamed on our page or YouTube channel.

We rededicate our worship space, organ, and Pray Ground to the glory of God. We bless our Sunday school students into the summer. Festival Choir, children’s choirs, the youth choir, instrumentalists, and special guests join in leading the celebration. The hymns are (numbers from ELW): 641, 481, 479, 461, and 547.

The artwork on this post and on the bulletin cover is entitled “Worship Cross” by Emily Johnson. The artist writes: I painted this during a United Methodist youth retreat in Arkansas around 2010 and donated it to raise money for our Youth Service Fund. It represents our worship times together. The teenagers loved trying to pick themselves out of the crowd. This is what almost 35 years of youth ministry events looks like to me - all the colors and joyous music, with Jesus in the midst of it all.
