Pastor Donald Maxey reminded us of the importance of staying spiritually alert and rooted in God’s Word in 1 Peter 5:8! The enemy may make noise, but our faith must be louder. When we remain sober-minded, vigilant, and connected to God, we are better equipped to stand firm in every battle 🪖💚⚔️.

🌸✨ Mission Sunday at The Grove ✨🌸

Sis. Flora shared memories of the Mission’s Bible for Friends ministry 📖. Many of us were able to recall scriptures that had been gifted alongside those Bibles by our members throughout the years. It was a touching reminder that even those who are no longer with us, the seeds they planted continue to bear fruit 🤍🪴.

Sis. Ethel taught from Isaiah 40:31, “Wait on the Lord,” comparing our spiritual journey to baking a cake 👩🏾‍🍳🎂. Just as every ingredient and every step matters, God’s process in our lives is purposeful and necessary!

Pastor Maxey closed out by challenging us through 1 Peter 5:8 to “Be on Guard,” reminding us to stay vigilant, grounded in the Word, and aware of the enemy’s tactics ❤️‍🔥⚔️.
