A lesson they won’t forget!

Yesterday in Sunday School, the kids saw a surprise package sitting on the table but they had NO idea what was inside. They had to wait until after the Bible story to find out.

We talked about Abraham and Sarah and how they had to wait for God’s promise. God made a covenant with Abraham, and even when the waiting was long, God was faithful.

Then we opened the surprise… and discovered it was a PIÑATA!

We celebrated the birth of Isaac with a birthday party, because Isaac means “laughter.” And there was certainly plenty of laughter, joy, and celebration!

What a fun way to help kids remember that God keeps His promises and His promises bring great joy!

Sunday School is full of learning while having fun. Don’t miss it!

This Sunday, our kids explored the Armor of God through The Way of the Shepherd.

One of the things we love most about this curriculum is that it doesn’t stop with hearing a Bible story. It gives children the opportunity to slow down, create, wonder, and process what God is teaching them. Through hands-on art and meaningful conversation, the lesson begins to take root in their hearts.

This sweet artwork was inspired by this week’s lesson from Ephesians 6, where Paul reminds us to “put on the full armor of God.” Our prayer is that every child who walks through our doors not only knows the stories of the Bible but also learns how God’s truth gives them courage, wisdom, and strength for everyday life.

It’s a joy to watch faith grow one story, one conversation, and one masterpiece at a time.

One last splash before summer officially comes to an end! We had the best time making memories together at Pirate’s Bay Water Park. Thankful for laughter, friendships, and a summer full of God’s goodness.

Now… who’s ready for an amazing school year?
