☀️ SUMMER IS (almost)HERE! ☀️
We have SO many exciting things happening for kids and families this summer and we can’t wait to kick things off together!

Schools Out Party – THIS SUNDAY at 6PM
Join us in the parking lot for one of our favorite nights of the year!
✔️ Inflatables (wear a swimsuit & bring a towel!)
✔️ Concession stand food
✔️ Music & games
✔️ Fun with friends and family
Bring a chair or blanket and INVITE people! Friends, neighbors, classmates, teammates — everyone is welcome! This is a great outreach opportunity and we would love for our church family to help welcome new families.

Summer Sunday School Begins May 31
This summer we’ll journey through "The Way of The Shepherd" using a Godly Play/Montessori-style format full of storytelling, wondering, scripture exploration, and hands-on activities.

🙋 Parent and other volunteers needed!
There are TWO ways to serve:

From chalk battles to messy games, these 3rd graders didn’t hold back and we loved every second of it!

We had WAY too much fun playing the “Granny Pants” game 😂

But here’s the truth behind the chaos…

Just like those pants only caught what was thrown in, our hearts and minds work the same way.

What we fill ourselves with: music, shows, conversations, thoughts: eventually comes back out in how we talk, act, and live.

Luke 2:45 reminds us that what’s inside of us matters.

So the question is: What are you putting in?

Because that’s exactly what will come out.

🍀 Lucky Us! Our Route 45 St. Patrick’s Party was full of games, laughter, and lots of fun with friends. Fourth and fifth graders enjoyed an exciting night together, but the best part was the reminder that what we have isn’t just luck — it’s blessing. We are blessed with great friends, supportive families, and a church that loves and encourages us. Route 45 is a place where 4th and 5th graders can belong, grow, and have a great time together!

Our verse for the evening reminded us where those blessings come from:
“Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father…” — James 1:17

Children’s Ministry Highlight!
Yesterday our Kindergarten & 1st graders dove into the story of Queen Esther, learning that God is always working, even in the moments we don’t see. They celebrated by creating their very own crowns—reminders that God has a purpose for each of them!

Our older kids spent time digging deeper into Scripture with a hands-on activity that helped them see how God weaves His plans through real people and real stories. Such a thoughtful and engaged group today!

We also celebrated a big milestone with 3rd Grade Bible Sunday!
There was a special class with a fantastic group of kids—full of excitement and curiosity as we do deep into their brand new Bibles.

Parents, thank you for showing up and helping make this week so meaningful. We love partnering with you as your kids grow in faith!

SUNDAY RECAP — WALK THE PLANK!
Today we learned about Jonah—who ran from God, but discovered that God’s love never runs away from us! When Jonah obeyed, his heart was light; when he disobeyed, it felt heavy and sank (ask them about the object lesson heart)

Kids helped tell the story by “walking the plank!” They dodged soft “waves” while practicing their memory verse from 1 John 4:11 — “God so loved us… we ought to love one another!”
Just like Jonah shared God’s love with Nineveh, we can share God’s love too!

Ask your child:
• Why did Jonah run away?
• How can we love others this week?

We had a blast—see you next Sunday!!

Our kids had a blast crafting today…but that was just the beginning!

We learned about Daniel and the lions’ den.
Daniel prayed three times a day, every day. Even when he knew he might be thrown into the lions’ den… he chose prayer anyway. How scary!!

Because Daniel had built a strong habit of talking to God, he knew exactly where to turn when life got hard — and God was with him the whole time.

We even tried a fun experiment! The kids squeezed an egg with all their might but couldn’t crush it.
It reminded us that on our own, fear can crack us — but when God is with us, He holds us tight and keeps us from breaking.

Our memory verse this week was 1 Peter 5:7:
“Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

We’d love for your kids to join us Sundays at 10 AM as we learn to trust God together and grow strong habits of faith!
