Church of the Brethren

Church of the Brethren Brethren have a long tradition of "gathering around the Word." Taking the New Testament as our guide, we discuss what Jesus did- and why. Doing as he did.

Then we try to pattern our own lives after his. "Where two or three are gathered together in my name," Jesus promised, "there am I in the midst of them." Through the practice described here, Brethren come together- as small groups or larger ones- in loving imitation of Jesus' actions. At these times, we're especially aware of God's presence. We call these practices our ordinances, because we think

of them as instructions from God. We welcome you to come listen to the word of God from one of our Pators Rev. Steve Hansen and Pastor Harold Mele. Sunday mornings adult Sunday school starts at 9:30 a.m. Sunday services start at 10:45 a.m. We look forward to seeing you!

What a beautiful and joy-filled day at Church of the Brethren. 💛

Today, we were blessed to witness the baptism of Bill Devlin, Julee Bell, and Lisa Wikert as they publicly declared their faith and commitment to Jesus Christ. Baptism is a sacred step in the life of a Christian—a symbol of new life and a heart devoted to following the Lord.

As a congregation, we rejoice with them and celebrate this meaningful step in their walk of faith. Please join us in lifting them up in prayer as they continue to grow in Him.
Congratulations, Bill, Julee, and Lisa—we celebrate with you! ✨
