The Lamp Stand set up outside the church today with games, prizes, plenty of fun, and one big message — we’re kicking off a brand-new year and there’s room for YOU! 🙌

A little fun, a little friendly competition, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s ahead. We can’t wait to get this year started!

🌻🐝 A Little Grace
at the Sunflower Bar 😂

Today’s photos come courtesy of two little visitors at the sunflower bar, both sporting some seriously impressive pollen pantaloons. 😂

They were happily doing their thing… until one got a little too close to the other one’s flower. Suddenly, there was a little scuffle. Apparently even bees have days when somebody gets on their last nerve. 😂

It made me think, though—we’re all carrying something. Sometimes our “pantaloons” are pretty full, and it doesn’t take much for us to get a little prickly with each other.

We don’t always know what someone else is carrying. A worry they haven’t shared. A hurt we can’t see. A day that has already asked too much of them.

So maybe today is a good day to give each other a little extra grace, hold our reactions a little more loosely, and keep gathering the good things God has placed in front of us.

“Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.” — Ephesians 4:2

May your day be sweet, your patience be long, and your pollen pantaloons be FULL. 🐝🌻❤️

❤️Investing in those
who invest in our youth. ❤️

This past Saturday, Toni Brooks, along with The Lampstand team, provided the opportunity to participate in the 2026 National Day of Volunteer Training for Youth Ministry.

Volunteers both within our church and the surrounding community joined.

It was a morning of learning, laughter, conversation, and growing together as we continue to find better ways to walk alongside the next generation and help them belong, grow in their faith, and follow Jesus.

So thankful for those willing to keep learning so we can better walk alongside the next generation. ❤️🔥

🌿 A little Saturday sprucing-up
at NHPC!

Our Men’s Group tackled some landscaping this weekend, and things are looking a little less wild around here. 😂👏

And good news—yard work at church requires absolutely NO appointment!

If you’re passing by and suddenly feel the urge to pull a w**d, prune a bush, or show an unruly branch who’s boss… have at it! 🌱✂️😂

Church family, consider this your official permission to pop in and pitch in anytime.

Many hands make light work—and apparently fewer w**ds! ❤️

🕸️ THE COBWEB CREW 🕸️

It started with one glance into the attic and the immediate thought… what have we gotten ourselves into?! 😳😂

Then the Cobweb Crew went to work! Bins were lowered and hauled to the choir room—aka our temporary transition headquarters—to be sorted, separated and shared. What could still be used found a home, and what had officially served its time was lovingly shown the door. 😂

And somewhere along the way, Pastor Rick put his engineering degree that he absolutely does not have to good use and invented the Rick-O-Matic Attic Express™—a highly sophisticated conveyor system consisting of… a strap. 😂 Around the bins it went, down they came, and suddenly we were operating like a finely tuned warehouse. Well… sort of.

All of this happened through attic temperatures approximately three degrees below the surface of the sun, countless trips up and down the stairs, stops and starts, a few injuries, a flying Shop-Vac, and rafters that apparently moved when we weren’t looking and managed to knock some sense into us—not once, but TWICE. 🤕😂

But the Cobweb Crew never gave up! 💪 We sorted, cleaned, swept, vacuumed, reorganized, reloaded and somehow turned the chaos into a beautifully clean and organized attic!

And because every major expedition deserves a proper ending… we celebrated with a sweet treat. 🍦❤️

From “Oh Lord, look at this attic” to “Would you LOOK at this attic!” 🙌

Mission accomplished, Cobweb Crew. Until the cobwebs call again… 🕸️😂

Five years of O.N.E. 💜

I am so Thankful to God for giving me the opportunity to be part of this ministry and for every person who has ever pulled up a chair and been part of this journey.

Through five years of gathering, growing, learning, praying, encouraging one another, and plenty of laughter and fellowship along the way, God has been so faithful.

I’m grateful for the friendships, the memories, and most of all, the time we’ve spent growing together in His Word. To God be the glory! 🙏💜
