Chabad Center of Natick - Metrowest

Chabad Center of Natick - Metrowest Open to all Jews in the Metrowest area as a place to learn and live their heritage. Chabad serves all segments of the Jewish community.

Chabad Center of Natick has become a popular center for Jews of all backgrounds who want to learn more about their Jewish roots. Chabad offers a wide variety of educational and spiritual opportunities, including Torah classes and lectures, and an array of family and social activities. Traditional Jewish values are brought to life in a joyous, non-judgmental atmosphere. Everyone is welcome regardle

ss of their personal level of religious observance. The philosophy is in keeping with the Chabad-Lubavitch approach of joy, scholarship and unconditional acceptance and love for every Jew. Chabad is under the spiritual guidance of Rabbi Levi Fogelman, a warm, caring and energetic individual. The rabbi's approach is that Torah must be presented and experienced in a modern, relevant context and made available to each individual on their own level. Rabbi Fogelman and his wife Chanie are emissaries of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, and are both dedicated in their service to the community. The services are traditional, and are conducted in a joyous, casual atmosphere. Children are included and most welcome. Many of those who attend cannot read Hebrew, yet everyone feels at home. The prayer book is bi-lingual and various English readings are included in the service. Song and commentary add meaning and participation to the prayers. An important part of our community is the weekly Kiddush that follows the Shabbat morning services, where friendships are created and nurtured, and we celebrate each other's happy occasions and anniversaries. Please allow yourself the opportunity to visit and participate in our vibrant congregation. By becoming a member at the Chabad Center of Natick you will acquire lifelong friendships, an opportunity for spiritual growth, and most importantly a chance to be a part of your Jewish community. Please feel free to visit us for services or any other program, or just stop in to say hello. For more information or to arrange a meeting with the Rabbi, please call our office at 508-650-1499 or email [email protected]. MISSION STATEMENT

🎉 Congratulations to the GEO Jewish Afterschool family! This week we held our End-of-Year Celebration (don't worry, GEO is still going strong for a few more weeks - and then there's camp! 😊). It was a wonderful opportunity to pause and celebrate the incredible accomplishments of our students. Families enjoyed dinner while viewing displays of woodworking projects, clay creations, and other artwork before gathering for the ceremony. 🏆 Awards recognized special effort and achievement, and a beautiful video showcased the students' having Hebrew conversations, woven together with songs and themes from our prayers. 🎶 It was a special evening celebrating our dedicated staff, supportive families, and, of course, our amazing students. ❤️

🌙 This week our students also explored the Jewish calendar and the cycle of the moon, acting out how the new moon used to be announced and creating special moon-themed projects to remind them that, like the moon, we can always grow brighter by adding more mitzvot.

💧 Another day brought a desert water challenge, searching for the right rocks to uncover hidden water, followed by some seriously fun slime-making!

🌿 Our nature explorers turned Black Locust flowers into delicious fritters, proving that learning can be tasty too.

♟️ There was also plenty of fun with word games, math games, chess, creativity, and laughter.

🎂 Celebrating birthdays together is always fun and special. Happy Birthday to our newest birthday person! Wishing you a wonderful year filled with happiness, success, and many blessings!
