Happy Easter! Today we celebrate the risen Lord. Jesus Christ was crucified and laid to rest in the tomb. There He rested for three days. On the third day, He rose. He lives! He is Risen.

"Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34).
We have all made mistakes that hurt our relationship with God. But Jesus suffered in Gethsemane and on the cross so we could repent and be forgiven, restoring our harmonious relationship with God.
Even in His agony on the cross, the Savior prayed that those who mocked and persecuted Him would be forgiven.
How does knowing that Christ was willing to die for everyone help you see those around you differently?

Jesus Christ entered Jerusalem to fulfill His final, sacred mission. The crowd welcomed Him with palm leaves and cried, "Hosanna in the highest," or "Please save us" (Matthew 21:1-11). For generations, the people in Jerusalem had been waiting for the Messiah to come and save them from oppression. Imagine the joy of being in the crowd, welcoming the Savior with palm leaves.
What would you do to welcome someone who could free you?

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jeffrey R. Holland. His service to the Lord has changed countless lives and will never be forgotten. ❤️

With heavy hearts, we announce that President Jeffrey R. Holland, President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, died today at approximately 3:15 a.m. MST from complications associated with kidney disease, while surrounded by his family. He was 85.

“My total responsibility … is to bear witness of the Lord Jesus Christ,” President Holland said hours after he was called to be an Apostle in 1994. “As inadequate as I feel, it is the most pleasant and most rewarding and most thrilling assignment a man can have in this world.”
