Yesterday, our Sunday school kids were reminded that God made all the animals, from the tiniest creatures to the biggest animals!

We are so thankful for all of our leaders who pour into our kids each week. Thank you for serving our Westside families.

Mrs. Beka’s Sunday school class made play-doh animals yesterday to finish up their lesson. We love seeing our kids have fun while they learn about God. 🤗

Promotion Sunday is TOMORROW!! 🆙🎉

We’re so excited to celebrate as our kids move up to their new classes!

One fun change this year: our kindergarteners are moving to the big kid hallway!

We’ve added a Kindergarten only class, and we’re excited to have Allison Goings leading it! Allison has faithfully served in our Pre-K class, and we know she’s going to do a great job leading our newest big kids!!

Church family, we’re always looking for more volunteers to serve in our Children’s Ministry. Reach out to Lizzie for more information.

This weekend, the kids got to build and race derby cars! So many of our Westside kids brought home trophies, and we couldn’t be more excited for them.

But we have to give a special shoutout to our sweet Olivia, who raced all the way to the final race out of 200+ kids! She was named the Girl Grand Champion and came so close to winning the Overall Grand Championship. We were so proud of her!

But if you know Olivia, you know that’s not why we’re the most proud. This weekend we watched her comfort friends who were hurt or disappointed, introduce herself to new campers, and show kindness everywhere she went.

Way to go Olivia! Thank you for representing our Westside Kids so well. ❤️

Kids Camp 2026 🤗

We had the best weekend at Tall Timbers Missions Camp. 3 days and a ton of memories! It’s always our prayer that our kids come away from camp closer to each other and most of all, closer to the Lord.

Thank you to Bro. Zach, Bro. Peyton, Bro. John Weems, Kim Methvin, Beka Gray, and Megan Lee for spending the weekend with us! Thank you to Mr. Wayne for driving the bus, and to Mrs. Patty for tagging along. The kids were so excited when they saw Mrs. Patty Friday morning, they were bummed that she wasn’t staying at camp with us!!

We are so blessed to have you guys. ❤️

And last, but certainly not least….We owe the BIGGEST thank you to our sister church, First Baptist Natchitoches. When we learned last minute that our bus was not going to be able to get us to camp, they graciously allowed us to use their bus. Thank you so much FBC for the kindness you showed to our kids and families!!
