Washington United Methodist Church is so happy to have to honor of receiving this beautiful cross and flame from Lovely Lane UMC! I hope our Lovely Lane UMC brothers and sisters see it and know how much we love them and appreciate them giving it to us. This cross was hand made by Sonny Daniel’s of Natchez. I am just amazed at the talented hands that made this. And a big shout out to Mike McGehee for getting it and installing it. Did an amazing job. Looks wonderful!! 🤩

Our building was completed in 1828. Our congregation is the Oldest Methodist congregation in Mississippi, Alabama, or Louisiana. Founded in 1799.
