Seed of Encouragement
We have to stop letting the accuser of believers keep us focused on our faults, flaws and mistakes. God knows all about them and He is able take what we see as a deficiency and use it as an effective tool to show His sufficiency. God is not looking for a perfect performer, He's looking for a heart that is fully surrendered to Him and has a sincere desire to please Him above all else.

The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart. 1 Samuel 16:7

Seed of Encouragement
Thinking about and repeating what we hear is in our nature. If we want to change how we think and change how we speak, we have to change what we are listening to. We have to tune our ears in to the voice of God by continuously meditating on His Word. As we hear what He says... think on what He says... and repeat what He says, we will begin to see what He says coming to pass our lives.

But his delight is in the law of The Lord and on His law he meditates day and night. He shall be like a tree planted by streams of water which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 1:2-3

“Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus.” -Hebrews 12:1-2

There will be moments when life makes you want to stop, turn around, or question whether you have the strength to keep going. But everything behind you is proof that God has already brought you through things you once thought would break you.

Do not allow a difficult season to convince you that your story is over. Keep moving forward. Stop looking back at old mistakes, disappointments, closed doors, and people God has already moved out of your life. Your past may explain where you have been, but it does not determine where God is taking you.

Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. When you cannot see the way, trust the One who is leading you. When you feel weak, lean on His strength. When you feel like giving up, remember how many times God has already made a way.

“Just keep going. Do not turn around because the road has become difficult. God did not bring you this far to abandon you now. Keep your eyes on Jesus instead of everything happening around you. God will give you strength when you are tired, peace when you are overwhelmed, and direction when you do not know what to do next. Leave the past behind and trust God with what is ahead. He will get you through this.”

Prayer:

Dear God, give me the strength to keep going when I feel tired and discouraged. Help me stop looking backward and keep my eyes fixed on Jesus. When fear, disappointment, or uncertainty tries to distract me, remind me that You are still with me. Guide my steps, strengthen my faith, and carry me through this season. I trust that what is ahead is greater than what I am leaving behind. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sometimes life does not look anything like the future you prayed for. Doors close, plans fall apart, relationships change, opportunities disappear, and you can find yourself wondering what God is doing. Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us that even when we cannot see the plan, God has not lost sight of our future.

A setback does not mean your purpose has been canceled. A delay does not mean God has forgotten your prayers. The chapter you are living right now is not the whole story. God can use disappointment to redirect you, closed doors to protect you, and difficult seasons to prepare you for something you were not ready for before.

You may not understand why certain things happened, but you can trust the One who already sees what is ahead. Keep moving forward. There are still opportunities you have not encountered, people you have not met, prayers that have not been answered, and chapters of your life that have not been written yet.

“Do not judge your future by what you see today. God still have a plan for your life. What did not work out did not destroy His purpose for you. Trust God with the doors that closed and the things you had to leave behind. God can take you somewhere better than where you were trying to go. There is still hope ahead of you. There are still blessings ahead of you. Keep walking with God, Your story is not over.”

Prayer:

Dear God, thank You for having a plan for my life even when I cannot understand what You are doing. Help me release the disappointments, closed doors, and unanswered questions I have been carrying. Give me faith to believe there is still something good ahead. Guide my steps, open the right doors, protect me from the wrong ones, and give me wisdom for every decision. I place my future completely in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
