Short- and long-sleeved T-shirts, with a special AOB 2026 design, are now available for pre-order, at $25 each. Pre-ordered T-shirts can be picked up on November 5, 6, and 7, when you arrive at the Natchez Civic Center to board the bus for your Angels tour.

Angels on the Bluff 2026 – Tickets Are Going Fast!

More than half of all tickets have already been sold for this year's Angels on the Bluff nighttime tour at the Natchez City Cemetery.

Join us on November 5, 6, or 7 as we honor nine area veterans whose service spanned the American Revolution, the Civil War, the Spanish-American War, World Wars I and II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. Their remarkable stories of courage, sacrifice, and service will be brought to life at the places where they now rest.

If you're planning to attend, now is an excellent time to reserve your tickets before the remaining tours fill.

Appearing at Angels on the Bluff 2026:
Natchez native Captain Allen Thomas Bowie II enlisted on 29 April 1861 at Memphis, Tennessee, as a private in Co. A., Adams’ Mississippi Cavalry. In 1864, while serving as Adjutant General under Brigadier General William Wirt Adams, he and his men helped capture the USS Petrel, a tinclad Union gunboat assigned to the Mississippi Squadron—the only known instance of a cavalry unit capturing a naval vessel.
Devin Arnold returns to Angels this year to share stories of Capt. Bowie’s wartime experiences and his service to his community after returning to civilian life in 1865.

No images of the USS Petrel survive. The photo below, in the public domain, depicts the USS Signal, another tinclad Union gunboat that also patrolled the Mississippi and Yazoo rivers as part of the Mississippi Squadron.

Natchez native Col. William Allen Adams was a highly decorated veteran who fought in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War. After a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force he became Director of the Natchez-Adams County Port. Robb Gray will share stories of Col. Adams’s remarkable wartime experiences.

Appearing at Angels on the Bluff 2026:
Major Isaac Guion was born in 1755 in New Rochelle, New York, into a family of French Huguenot descent. A Revolutionary War veteran, he fought with Wolf and Montgomery’s troops during the capture of Quebec. In late 1797 he was ordered to take possession of all Spanish forts on the east bank of the Mississippi. He earned his place in American—and Natchez—history, on March 30, 1798, he when he “hoisted the American flag on the Fort at the Natches.” Longtime Angels presenter, Sam Jones, will share the story of Major Guion’s illustrious military career.

Appearing at Angels on the Bluff 2026:
Veteran Page Morris Davis Parker lived a life of service: to her family, her church, her country, her friends, and many others. Born and raised in Natchez, Page attended the University of Kentucky at Lexington, where she received her B.S. in Business Education in August 1943. Following graduation she enlisted in the WAVES, United States Naval Reserve, and served as a recruiter throughout Mississippi. After completing an officers’ training program in July 1945 she was commissioned as ensign and assigned to duty at the Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. A family member will share some of Page’s many exciting stories about her wartime experience.

Appearing at Angels on the Bluff 2026:
Major Thomas Waring “Buddy” Bennett Jr., US Air Force, was born in Macon, Georgia, son of Thomas W. Bennett Sr. and Louise Moultrie (Bowen) Bennett. Buddy graduated from Natchez High in 1961 and the University of Southern Mississippi in 1967. Following graduation he began studying for the ministry, but then decided to pursue a military career and entered the service in 1969. On December 22, 1972, his 30th birthday, he was shot down while flying a bombing mission over Hanoi, Vietnam. Landon Henry will share the tragic story of this well known Natchez veteran.
