🌻We spent the morning filling the retreat bags.

🌻Major kudos to Sister Sylvia from Betania Baptist in Devine who has worked tirelessly to keep me and this retreat organized. Sylvia and her sister Linda sorted through all the tshirts and made name tags for each retreat bag.

🌻Amazing work ladies!

🌻So excited for what God has for each attendee.

🌻Please keep praying for our guest speaker, our retreat committee, Praise Team, Alto Frio staff, but especially for the hearts of each lady that has made plans to attend. The enemy will try to place obstacles in our path this week but we serve our Lord and Savior who has given ALL authority over all things. If HE has ALL authority then the enemy has NONE.

When worry starts to take over, bring it to God. Tell Him what you need, thank Him for what He’s already done and trust that your life is in His hands.

His peace may not change your circumstances overnight, but it can change how you walk through them. 🙏

Some days leave us running on empty. Isaiah 40:31 encourages us to place our hope in God and trust Him to renew what feels worn down. 🌷

Lord, help me do it Your way. Even when I don’t understand, help me trust You. Teach me to follow Your Word, surrender my plans, and choose what honors You. When I am tired, confused, or afraid, remind me that Your ways are better than mine. Help me not to depend on my own understanding, but to trust You and obey You one step at a time. May my life, my choices, and everything I do point people back to You. 🤍

Some mornings begin with joy, others with a tired heart. Still, Lamentations 3:22 reminds me that God’s mercies are new each morning. His grace meets us right where we are. 🌄
