Today we honor the life and legacy of a precious servant of the Lord, Ms. Maxine Jenkins. ❤️

For an incredible eight decades, Ms. Maxine used the gift God placed in her hands to serve Him through music. She taught hundreds to play the piano, encouraged generations, and helped lead thousands into worship.

Think of the countless songs played, the church services filled with music, the young musicians she encouraged, and the lives touched because one woman faithfully said yes to using her gift for the Lord.

Today, those hands that played so many songs of worship are at rest—but the impact of her faithfulness will continue for generations.

We are especially touched that as she went home to be with the Lord, family and friends surrounded her singing “Jesus Loves Me.” What a beautiful ending to a life that pointed so many others toward Jesus.

Our church family extends our love and prayers to the Jenkins family. May the Lord surround you with His comfort and peace in the days ahead.

Well done, good and faithful servant. Your song may be finished here, but your worship continues in His presence. ❤️🎹

SOMETHING SHIFTED AT THE RIVER

The wind began to blow.
The rain began to fall.
The Spirit began to stir.
And one after another stepped into the water.

It was more than a baptism.
It felt like a fresh wind, a fresh rain, and a fresh surrender.

🌸 What a wonderful evening! 🌸

Friday night’s Your Health & Hormones event was such a great time of learning, conversation, and fellowship! 💕

A huge THANK YOU to Michelle Bridges for taking the time to come and share her knowledge with us. The information she provided about women’s health, hormones, perimenopause, menopause, and navigating the changes of midlife was incredibly informative and helpful.

And thank you to every lady who came out and joined us! It was so encouraging to see women from our church and community come together to learn, ask questions, laugh, visit, and support one another.

We’re also so thankful for our Natalbany Baptist Church Ladies Ministry team and everyone who helped prepare, greet, serve, and make the evening possible. 🌷

We had a GREAT time, learned a lot, and we’re already looking forward to more opportunities like this! 💜
