The Nassau Synagogue was founded in 1913 and has been a center for Jewish worship since then. We are located on Rt. 20 right in the Village of Nassau.

We are an unaffiliated congregation, with a lay leadership, adhering to a conservative liturgy. The Nassau Synagogue is located on Rt. 20 in the Village of Nassau. We are traditional, "unaffiliated", in that we are not subscribed to any particular Jewish denomination, although we keep a strictly kosher kitchen, and use a classic conservative/orthodox liturgy. The shul has no rabbi, and all services are run by lay leaders who are members of the congregation. The shul has a small, but lively Hebrew School, and an active schedule of educational programs for all ages, in addition to a number of tikkun olam programs. Feel free to join us. Our doors open for Shabbat services every Saturday at 9:30.

Music and Muses Showcase/Open Mic was a delight last week! Susan Soskin Riback's poetry was moving, insightful, beautiful, and witty. As-Iz (Israel Singer)'s original music was just great and his covers rocked us. The open mic poets each offered entertaining and awe inspiring words.
