The Lord will tread down all our enemies. All we have to do is surrender, for the battle is the Lord’s and the victory is ours. American evangelist D.L. Moody said, “Trust in yourself and you are doomed to disappointment. Trust in your friends and they will die and leave you. Trust in money and you may have it taken from you. Trust in reputation and some slanderous tongues will blast it. But trust in God and you are never to be confounded in time or eternity.”

God has shown us a sure way of testing spirits to see if they are of God or not. Every spirit that does not confess that Jesus came in the flesh is not of God and is a spirit of the anti-Christ (1 John 4:1-3). Question every spirit who comes to you with this test. Also, if their message does not match God’s Word, they are not of God. Isn’t it comforting to know that God stands for what He says? Isn’t it comforting to know that we cannot be taken for a ride when we follow God’s ways?

God created us to live, move and exist in Him (Acts 17:28). He created us to do good and great works, which He Himself prepared for us to do. We need to submit to His Lordship over our lives and show genuine love, help others, heal the broken hearted and sick and prevent people from being destroyed. God is with us in this journey. Let’s go the extra mile!

Father, I thank You for this journey called life. You saved me for good and great works, which I am eager to do every day. Thank You that You will be with me in this journey even as I go about doing these works all for Your glory. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Jesus came to give us life and life in abundance. It does not matter who you are or the country you belong to; each one of us needs salvation and this is not to be found in any shop or country, but only in a name, the name above all other names, the name of Jesus!
Our Creator God became man and said to us, “My child I am going to help you.” When we ask, ‘What must I do?’ Jesus replies, "I will do everything for you. I will carry your sin, sickness and curse, so you can go free.” He died for us and paid the price saying, “It is finished. "All we need do is to receive this gift of salvation by receiving Him as our very own Lord and Savior.

Often we go through trying times in our lives, where we have no solution to questions and problems that trouble us. It’s then that we turn to God, in prayer, for a solution. But do we really follow through and obey what God tells us to do? Sometimes, even after hearing from God, we do what we think is right. Our natural minds take us through the rational way of doing things. But as Christians, we are made for the supernatural! God knows exactly what’s good for us and will tell us to do just that!
