This week at Lighthouse Baptist Church ⛪️

We continued our series: Fearful, Yet I Will Rejoice and Stand
Sermon 8 of 13 - “Ashes to Glory: When Unjust Ambition Meets God’s Judgement.”

From Habakkuk 2:12–14 📖 we were reminded that the glory we build through injustice will crumble under God’s judgment, but the earth will ultimately be filled with the knowledge of His glory. Because God is faithful, we can face our fears, wait on His Word, and stand rejoicing in the God of our salvation. ✝️

This week at Lighthouse Baptist Church ⛪️

We continued our series: “Fearful, Yet I Will Rejoice and Stand,” with Sermon 7 of 13, “When Security Becomes Shame,” from Habakkuk 2:9–11.

📖 We were reminded that security built on the backs of others will ultimately end in shame, but true and lasting security is freely found in Jesus Christ, who bore the judgment our sins deserve. 🙌 Because God is faithful, we can face our fears, wait on His Word, and stand rejoicing in the God of our salvation! 🍁

Sermon 6 of 13, “When God Says ‘Enough,’” from Habakkuk 2:6–8.

We were reminded that God sees the harm caused by unjust gain and has not forgotten those who suffer. Because God is faithful, we can face our fears, wait on His Word, and stand rejoicing in the God of our salvation. ✝️

This week at Lighthouse Baptist Church ⛪️

We continued our series: “Fearful, Yet I Will Rejoice and Stand”

Sermon 5 of 9: “Living by Faith in the Waiting”

Habakkuk 2:2–5 📖

We were reminded that God’s promises may not always come as quickly as we would like, but His promises are always certain and trustworthy. Even in seasons of waiting, uncertainty, and fear, God calls His people to patiently wait on His Word and continue walking by faith. The righteous are called to order their lives around what God has said, trusting His timing rather than allowing pride, impatience, or earthly desires to take control. As we wait on the Lord, we can stand firm, knowing that God is faithful and that our hope is ultimately found in Him and the salvation He provides.
