An Answer That Hurts: When God’s Answer Is Harder Than Our Question

From Habakkuk 1:5–11, we were reminded that God remains sovereign and holy even when His answers are harder than the questions we bring to Him. Because God is faithful, we can face our fears, wait on His Word, and continue standing and rejoicing in the God of our salvation—even when we don’t fully understand His ways.

Today’s message: “Undecided is a Decision”

Today’s message centered on Proverbs 9:1–18, where we were reminded that every person is faced with a choice between two paths: the way of wisdom and the way of foolishness. God has prepared good works for us, and through Christ, He gives us the wisdom to walk wisely and zealously in them, a walk that begins with fearing Him rightly. We were challenged with the truth that there are only two doors before us, and no one else can choose the right one on our behalf. Remaining undecided is itself a decision, and failing to follow God’s wisdom leads us down the wrong path. May we seek the Lord, trust His Word, and choose the path of wisdom that leads to life.

Today’s message: “Winning the Conflict of a Lifetime”

Today’s message focused on Proverbs 16:32–33 and other selected Proverbs, reminding us that the hardest war we will ever wage is the ongoing fight within our own spirit. We were challenged to recognize that we cannot manufacture the self-control needed to win this battle on our own. But through Christ, the Holy Spirit produces what we need to faithfully wage this war and walk in wisdom. God has prepared good works for us, and through Christ He gives us the wisdom to walk wisely and zealously in them. Ultimately, that walk begins with fearing God rightly and relying on Him for the strength to live a life that honors Him.

Today’s Message: What Your Hands Are Saying: Vocation Before the King of Kings (Proverbs 22:29; 10:4–5; 12:11; 14:4; 14:23)

Today we were reminded that our daily work is far more than just a job—it is an opportunity to honor the Lord. We learned that God builds skill in ordinary hands over ordinary years, and that every hour of faithful labor is done before the King who sees all. As we continue through this series, we were encouraged to remember that God has prepared good works for His people and gives us the wisdom to walk faithfully in them. May we approach every task with diligence, integrity, and a heart that seeks to glorify Christ, knowing that our work is a testimony to the One we serve.✝️
