Sunday Masses at Assumption Suspended

Due to limitations imposed by repair work on the belltower, Sunday Mass at the Church of the Assumption has been suspended indefinitely. Daily Mass will be held in Fr. Bernard Hall. The closure is expected to last several months.

Feast of the Sacred Heart

Holy Mass in the usus antiquior will be offered at the Church of the Assumption at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, for the Feast of the Sacred Heart. The parish bulletin lists the regular feria Mass for 7:00 a.m. that day. This is an error. There will be no morning Mass. Mass for first-class feasts is almost always celebrated at 6:00 p.m.
