Nashville SSE children and some devotees had an opportunity to visit a gaushala few months ago!

Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) children, along with their teachers, parents and other members, from the Sri Sathya Sai Centre of Nashville visited the S3 Gaushala (a cow sanctuary) in Arlington, Tennessee, located about three hours from Nashville.

In light of the current unrest and disharmony in our country sparked by recent events, we are organizing a week long online prayer session for the divine grace to provide wisdom, strength and healing to all those affected. We will chant Gayatri Mantra 108 times as a prayer for Unity in Diversity.

"Today, many are indulging in actions opposed to Dharma (right conduct) and truth and are promoting strife and conflict in the country. Elders in the nation are remaining mere spectators of all the unrighteous and violent actions that are being done by the evil elements. Even the scholars and intellectuals are remaining silent. Persons holding high office are merely watching what goes on... Such persons, though they may not be indulging in unrighteous acts, are giving encouragement to them...The Divine will not consider whether they are learned or ignorant, wise or unwise. If they are learned or wise, why did they not stand up for truth and justice? Why did they remain silent? It means they are tainted by the same guilt. The failure to resist evil is their offence. It is only when we resist acts of unrighteousness and injustice and try to put down malpractices in society that we can claim to be assisting in the task of restoring Dharma." ~Sathya Sai Speaks, Vol. 19, Ch. 23 (Oct. 10, 1986)

Sai Spiritual Education (SSE) is a human values program that strives to imbibe truth, right action, love, peace and non-violence in children and adolescents. This summer, the Nashville SSE program will be conducted virtually through Zoom between June 5th-July 31st, 2020, with sessions occurring once a week. Please join us as we conduct fun, value-based summer workshops for your child online!
