Several area churches and individuals came together to handcraft 150 BEAUTIFUL baby blankets to give new mommas at the Hispanic Family Foundation Community Baby Shower this Saturday at Plaza Mariachi Music City! Diane at HFF shared this with the crafters, "Most of these mommies are refugees, immigrants, and underserved women, which many of them don’t have access to their mothers and haven’t seen their mothers in a while. To have a 'mother' here make their child a blanket means the world to them!!!"

Thanks especially to Westwood Baptist Church - Nashville, Brentwood Baptist Church, Cornerstone Nashville, and the volunteers around the city that crafted this labor of love.

One of our favorite things is seeing churches coming together to literally wrap around someone else in love!

It's National Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week! We love our city's faculty, staff, and administration and want to celebrate the tremendous work they do to help educate and love children in our community every day.

We know several of our United4Hope churches have some special celebrations planned for their Metro Nashville Public Schools partners this week.

Reach out to the teachers and academic staff you know this week and say an extra hearty THANK YOU!

Our final pause today for prayer together is for your neighborhood and other communities around Nashville. We also invite you to pray the below prayer with us after you have spent time praying for specific neighborhoods.

God, we give you our city and our communities. We pray that you would be at work making us aware of the needs of our neighbors, both individually and systemically, and pray that you would inspire and equip us to be part of the solution of working to bring about healing, reconciliation, partnership, and shalom.

May Nashville be a city marked by communities of faith that are united, who partner well, and who love God and our neighbors. Amen.

Today, as churches and individuals are coming together all around the Nashville area to love our city, we invite you to pause and pray with others. We have identified a few things you can be praying for as we collectively raise our voices around a common theme. We hope you can join us, whether you use them as a prompt for more time with the Lord or as a pause to speak to the Creator in-between whatever your day may hold.

As you pray for church and faith communities in our city, you can specifically pray for your Pastor and other area church leaders, your church and its unique calling in our community, ministries in our city, and those serving today through OAGroup's Live Out Love Nashville and other church service days.

Prayer Prompt: "God, we ask that you continue to ________ for the churches and faith communities in our city."

LIVE OUT LOVE NASHVILLE is this Saturday!

One of the ways you can join other believers in the area to love our community is by supporting some tangible daily needs for our city's students! Metro Nashville Public School has reached out to us and shared the need for hygiene kits, sanitary supplies, snack packs, and some household kits for local students. We will have three collection points around the city where you can drop off individual supplies or complete kits.

You can check out the link below to find more details about what's needed and where the drop-off locations are. Join us in resourcing families in these essential areas! bit.ly/loln-supplies
