Pratik Dash: Hello, My name is Pratik and I work with TIRRC Votes, whose mission is to strengthen and expand our democracy by building power in immigrant and refugee communities and advocating for equitable and inclusive public policy. On September 12th, Nashville will elect a new mayor and city council, and we want first and second generation immigrant and refugee communities to influence the election. We need help from student groups like yours to help us do voter turnout across the city. We'd love to have TSU MSA members be a part of this and help change the city to be welcoming for immigrants. This is an opportunity to elect immigrant candidates, fight for affordable housing, and even limit ICE's power in our city. If any members are interested, please sign up at the link below! Asalamu alikum,
Since it’s women’s month we decided to appreciate and pamper the MSA girls. We laughed ,played games, talked about life and most importantly pampered ourselves 😉Thank you to all the MSA board members and everyone who attended, this was a much needed event after a stressful midterm week. Great turnout mashallah 💕

We spent our Friday night with this smart, fun, and insightful group of students from Trevecca University, Tennessee State University, and Middle Tennessee State University. We talked about issues that divide our community, but also shared some laughs. Thanks to Professor Elizabeth Nunley for bringing A Seat the Table to Trevecca. We can't wait to see what's next for this group!
